I do not like the name Sadie. I would do anything to get rid of it.(no offense to others named Sadie...)

As a parent I feel like it is my responsibility to protect and educate my child. In today's world that is becoming more and more dificult. After an unpleasant experience today it dawned on me that I will have to face the fact that I will have to tell my little girls that someone doesn't like them because of things they cannot change, like their race or their sex. I always felt like what I can't protect them from I can educate them so the world won't be so scarry, but for once I don't know how to begin to try to explain...why? Do you have any suggestions or examples so I can try to prepare myself for this time?

My parents are very controlling. I am 26 years old married and the mother of two with one on the way. Yet my parents get angry when I don't do what they want. I went to my grandpa's funeral last Febuary and I forgot to say goodbye to them when I left. Therefore I am no longer allowed to visit or have any contact with my siblings. That is until I go crawling back and agree to kiss their butts from here on out.

They haven't had anything to do with my children. My father told me that if he never sees my kids it will be okay because he will have more grandchildren in the future.

I am the oldest of twelve kids so I think they want to set the example with me. They want to show my sibling that they better do want they want or they will get cut off.

I really miss my siblings but what can I do??

me and my boyfriend had sex about one day before my expected period. we used a condom, it didnt rip, he did *** but im a week or more late into my period, nd ive been having cramps.

i was schedualed for a doctors appointment on the 6th of december and at that appointment i was suppose to hear my babies heartbeat but i moved and had to cancel that appointment. i moved to a big city and cant get into the gyno till the 17th of january. Is that a bad thing that im this far along and havent been able to hear the heartbeat yet? this is my first pregnancy

He already helps quite a bit with his sister who is 2..I don't want to force him or overwhelm him to the point that he thinks negatively towards chores (my mom did that to me and as an adult I wish she would have put a more positive spin on it...no one likes to clean and tidy but it's part of life) I also do not think $$ is the answer. I will NOT now or ever pay my kids to clean up after themselves or clean the house as I strongly believe this should be a shared task.
What do you think? How could I get him more motivated to clean up after himself (mainly his own belongings)?

2mths old baby goes to bed at 11pm +- (approximately) after feed. got up in between every 2 - 3 hrs, but no feeding. gave pacifier / changed her positons and she went back to zz. only feed 6 hrs later. is this called sleeping thru the nite?
