which name do you like better?

She is interested in using it,but for about 4-5 months now it's been the same issue,i take her to the potty she sits there and doesnt do anything,she could sit there all day,she has gone all of about 2 times and i got really excited and everything and told her she was a good girl etc,but everyday its the same thing she asks to go then nothing happens,then as soon as i put her nappy back on she does it in there?how do i get her to go in the potty i have tried everything...and i dont want her sitting there for hours at a time untill she does it.

I am a lil scared about having a C-section after a few days. The reason..My baby's cord is around the neck and I also Pregnancy induced hypertension. I will complete 37 weeks then and my doc wants to do it soon. How painful is the procedure? Do you feel anything at all like pulling out etc? Or some people say you have tugging kind of feeling? How long does it take? Pls share your experiences. Thanks.

I was due yesterday and I DO understand the baby will come when he is ready but sheesh...... I am 4.5 cm dilated, 75% efaced for a couple of weeks now. My doctor stripped my membranes on Friday and I lost my mucus plug on Saturday. After she stripped my membranes my braxton hicks basically stopped and I feel better than I have for a long time! What is going on with me?

im usually feeling sick most of the day i have bad morning sickness but my doctor gave me tablets for it..after i have breakfast i really dont feel like eating or doing anything..i always get sleepy during a certain time but im not sure if thats the tablets or not..is all this normal? i had an ultrasound yesterday and the doctor said everything looked fine.....also is it bad to hold gas in? because its kinda embarrassing being out around people with all that gas?....

Random question but just wondering as I see a few ultrasound pics and sometimes I am not so sure exactly what is what.. mine looks clear to me but then I've seen the bigger picture.

my 11 month old baby seems rather small. his next check up is not until next month. at his 9 month check up he weighed 17lbs 4oz. he is not a chubby baby at all. his started out well at his first few months check up he was always in the 90th percentile, at his 9month check up he was in the 15th percentile. the doc said there was nothing to worry about. I feed him regualr meals that the rest of the family is eating, including friuts, veggies and fruit juices. he doen't seem to want fomular anymore either, he drinks maybe one bottle a day. his appetite is good one day and then will barely eat anything the next day. any suggestions to help my baby put on some weight?

Personally I would say that there is nothing wrong with that, but people just keep telling me that it is not right. I'm 5 months preg. and I have 2 male Pitbull dogs (15 mos. old), who consider me their mom (i am), and will only become aggressive when I am around both because they get jelous of each other; they're only aggressive to strangers, but not towards anyone in my family. The problem is that I will be staying with the baby in the same room my doggies use to share when they were pups, and obviously my dogs are going to see me with the baby and stuff. I mean, I don't know how they will react, or if it's safe to have the baby around them; my dogs are my kids too, I can't prefer the baby over the dogs because it is not fair. Plus I've heard that newborns shouldn't be in a household were there are certain "animals". I just want to know if any of you have experienced something similar, cause I always think about that issue, but I really don't see anything wrong...

I like the name Halen for a boy.....I dont know about spelling it like that though because I dont want it to get confused with helen or something!

My hubby actually likes it too.
AND YES.....its like Van Halen, but we like 80's music! I think our parents would like it too because they are the ones that got us listening to that generation of music in the first place!

Do you believe in interracial adoption (as in a family adopting a child of another race)? Why or why not?

I personally have mixed views on the subject, because I noticed a lot of white families who adopt Asian children adopt them because they think asian kids are cute when they are little (you don't see most of them adopting a latino, indian, or other-raced child). I have heard of other scenarios as well regarding the problems with interracial adoption.

Yet I also feel a family is not bound by race but by love and a child of any race can be raised and adopted with love by parents of any race. But yet could it work if the parents show them other children just like them, know the child's heritage, culture, etc...

What is your opinion on this issue? For or against and why?

I'm sitting here trying to figure out where the heck I went wrong. My son went from loving and respectful to rude and inconsiderate, not just to me and his father but to his younger brother and sister. I know the hormone thing has a lot to do with it but I'm not sure I'm cut out for this! LOL Any help would be appreciated. Is 13 too old for being grounded? I had my rubella shot last month (october) and my doctor adviced me to stop trying for a baby for 1 month. I would really like to try for a baby ASAP (preferbably around this month) but some of my friends said that I had to wait for atleast 3months before trying to conceive. Please help, what should I do? I have 5 other kids but none of them talked this early. He looks right at me and says Mom.. not mama, and he does it alot and smiles.
