had an abortion on oct.11 bleed for 2 weeks then stoped.started havin unprotected sex,now at 5 weeks am bleeding i called planned parenthood and they said it might be my period but i wanna know if i could be pregnant and when she i do a test to find out.and i had a abortion do to one problem,so could i still be pregnant even though im bleedin and if this is my period when will i ovulate

If you have had sex after the procedure you may be pregnant which is why they say go on birth control as you are very fertile as others have said. However you could still be pregnant because some times they botch the operation or you may have got pregnant when you had sex. But If you don't want a baby you should speak to your doctor about contraception. Try a hpt and see what it says. You should know a true result by now as it takes about 4 weeks for your body to stop having a positive result after having an abortion. Try one now chances are you may be. To answer you other question you ovulate between day 10 of your cycle and day 15 normally day 14 but everyone id different. Why do you want to know anyway? You should only be interested in that if your ttc. Anyway good luck

Ovulation occurs midcycle, so if your cycle is 28 days (from the first day of your period to the first day of your next period), then you should ovulate around the 14th day. Now, that is just an example and everybody's different. Some people have 30 day cycles, some people have less. Nobody on here will be able to accurately tell you when you will ovulate. The safest thing for you to do is go on birth control (you can get that for free depending on your situation at the Planned Parenthood -- go talk to someone who works there) and stop having unprotected sex!

It could still be hormones from before. I'm just wondering why you were already having sex again? I had a D&C last August and was told to wait 6 weeks. We didn't. We waited maybe 4 but used condoms. The risk of infection after an abortion is rather high. Also, your body needs time to heal.

Bleeding usually means your not pregnant, but not always. This is a good reason back alley clinics should be re-opened. Back in those days, little girls didn't forget the pain and sure as heck many times never quit bleeding and the silly ones DIED.

Why do you care when you ovulate? You seem very young, which makes predicting ovulation (as a form of birth control) very innacurate. Your cycle is still probably all over the place. You need to get on BC so you will not get pregnant again. It IS true what they say, abortions will lower your chances of being able to get pregnant when you ACTUALLY want to. Btw, LOTS of pregnant women are on here, and these types of questions p*ss them off, they don't need the aggravation.

Abortion is NOT a form of birth control. Why didn't you get your tubes tied or a hysterectomy then? It's monsters like you that have given Planned Parenthood a bad name.......and this is where our taxes go!!!! geez!

Planned Parenthood is a horrible agency ALL they ever recommended to my mother was abortions and guess what I beat them!! My mom started showing enough that my family stopped her before she killed me, planned parenthood made her kill over 11 other babies. Go to your gynecologist and talk to them I hate planned parenthood because they are not safe they completely disreguard the mental damage that having an abortion can cause and by the looks of your post you seem to be a bit of a wreck. My mother is on a ton of anti-depressants and seeing how fickle you are by having sex 2 weeks after an abortion you are down my mothers road. Save yourself mentally and physically (you realise that in rare cases you can die from abortions) and start using protection or better yet stop having sex.

I find this very sad...why would you get an abortion and then have unprotected sex? Or was there some horrible problem with the first one and you are trying again? Please have protected sex-even if you are trying to get pregnant, give your body time to heal from the abortion; give your heart time to heal as well.
