I just posted another question about baby names and got an answer telling me to "have an abortion then wait until your married to have children". Isn't that a bit of a contradiction? I mean, this person is telling me to abort my baby because I am not married, but at the same time telling me to get married...humm, I am really confused.

Can I return him back to the system, or find another adoptive parent for him? It's nothing like I thought it would be, and I just can't get used to having him. Please help.

I am 38 weeks, 3 days and had my mind made up to have an epidural. Yesterday, when I mentioned this to my sister, she freaked out. She is younger and has no kids, but is almost finished nursing school and has witnessed a few births. She told me a horror story about a birth she say where the woman couldn't push properly because of the epidural and therefore put her baby in some danger. I don't want to danger my baby in anyway, but I thought the epidural didn't impact your ability to push. I'd love to hear about any relevant experiences.

Whether she's angry or you won't let her get her way?

She kicks her dad, her grandparents, and her aunt. and hits all of them too.

I don't have any kids. But I was wondering what this means and how one can put a stop to this? she's raised by her grandma because the dad is too lazy and the mom is out of the picture and her grandma just yells at her and spanks her. Is that why the two year old hits and kicks others?

I am having the hardest time finding the perfect baby name! Every name I like my boyfriend cannot stand and every name he likes I don't like. How do we come to find a name we love? Well I'm a leader for campers in a Girl Scout troop (Juniors- third grade to 5th grade) I'm going to be a captain of them. We have to come up with a song or skit at the end of the day. We have to dress up as pirates too. Any good ideas? How should I act around this age group?

my baby is 7 weeks old and im just now starting and wanting to take him out to places, it seems like everytime we go for a ride and he is in the car seat he crys, and screams, and dosnt stop so i end up pulling over if i can so that he will calm down when it gets bad....
i feel bad for letting him cry cause its a hard cry/scream.
but i also want to be able to drive places w/o this happening everytime.
how can i get him to like the car seat and driving???
if i let him cry and scream like he does is it bad for him?
its not like im ignoring him, im driving.
women everyday drive with their babies, i'd like to too in peace.

I bartend for a living and my income is about half what it used to be because i switched from nights to days to protect the baby. I had to pay out of pocket for the first 3 months while waiting for my ins to kick in. i also moved once already and have to move again. I'm 33 weeks pregnant and broke. I have to take 6 weeks off with the baby(assuming i can work until he arrives) because i don't have family here to help me and I can't get day care until he is 6 weeks old. I also really want to breast feed and bond with my son. I still make too much money to even qualify for WIC. I can't work the extra hours i was in the beginning, its too much now. Anyone have any advice?

I am going to be 6 months pregnant on thursday, yesterday i noticed my nipples are very tender and when i squeez a little clear liquid stuff comes out only a small amount, does this mean i am starting to produce colostrum? I have never had this happen before. I dont think i am leaking yet but if this is starting to happen and it is colostrum how much longer do you think before i need to buy thoes breasts pads for the leaking?

Also i am very confused, in weeks i am 23 weeks 4 days which works out that i am nearly 6 months pregnant which means i should only have 3 months to go but i am due in february and in months it works out that i still have 4 months to go how does this work out? Is it true that we are really pregnant for 10 months cause all my dates are correct.

my wife died in June 2006 and we have fertilized embryos, because we did IVF, but she never got pregnant, except one miscarriage. Anyway, it costs like a quarter of a million dollars to do this and I've been on disability for like 3 years now and I have no idea how to come up with that kind of money. But it's a high priority for me because there's still a possibility that I can raise OUR CHILDREN. it's a big deal.

Open to ideas.

I don't know anyone who would be willing to have the baby for me. not that I know of. Maybe if I ever get remarried maybe the woman would do it. But I'd probably need to find someone quite younger than myself to do that. I'm 45.
