There is a rare chance that it could cause birth defects however by the time you find out you are pregnant and you quit because they are no longer needed then you should be fine. Your doctor will tell you more about this.

If you were thinking about taking them just for regulation then I would stop because the monthly will stop (in most people anyway)

I would not worry.. You will be fine as will the baby if you have stopped.

Good Luck

Why would you start taking birth control is you are pregnant? Birth control is harmful to the baby, do not take it.

You'll hurt your baby...& uhh. What's the point of birth control pills?
Birth control pills prevent you from getting pregnant....but you are already pregnant.

depending on how far pregnant you were and what type of birth control it was, it could possible do something to the fetus. hopefully you wont do that on purpose though. but if you know ur pregnant and the doctor knows they wont prescribe you birth control pills, they do a test to determine it before they give you the pills.

It won't abort the pregnancy. Taking a certain dosage of the pills can act the same way as the Morning after pill, but that is only if the egg has not been implanted in the uterus yet.

If you know you are pregnant, you should not start taking the pill.

The hormones are not intended to be taken during pregnancy - but there is apparently no evidence that it would harm the baby...however, if you already knew you were pregnant, there would be no reason to start.

If you're wondering if it would terminate the pregnancy...no, it's preventative. It does not cause you to abort.
