Our last name is Hawk, so it's tricky finding names that don''t sound ridiculous together. Do you think Scarlett Hawk is too much? I like the sound of Scarlett Snow, but does that conjour up bad imigary? What about Scarlett Skye Hawk?

I fainted this mornng, and while I didn't hurt myself, it was pretty scary. This is not my first pregnancy, but my first time EVER passing out. I did see a doctor today, nt my usual doc, and he passed it off as normal. It just freaked me out! Wondering if many others have experienced this?

My pediatrician told me I could start my 2month old on veggies so today I tried to give him some but I'm not sure I'm introducing it to him properly. It seems as though his tummy is reacting to it badly. How should I be introducing him to it? He's been eating rice cereal with a spoon so it has nothing to do witht that and he has an easy time with the rice...

I was told I have mild Insulin resistence and that I should go for Metformin to help conceive.
Do you think Metformin will control the sugar level in the body which makes me auto ovulate or what happens?
Or do you think it is better to take clomid with Metformin?

My dog got scared and ran backwards and my daughter was standing right behind my dog and was thrown on the floor and hit her head really hard. She cried for a while, I feel no bumps, she reconigzes things, she's talking fine, she's walking fine. I won't let her go to sleep for an hour. I'm just paranoid right now and I need to know what everyone else thinks.

Although he is only 6, he has spelling words in first grade to study. He doesn't like to sit and study. It becomes a big battle. I'm thinking maybe he will get over it once he sees he can actually do this. Is this just rebellion? Should I be worried? I hate think of taking things away if he doesn't do well because he is only 6 and I don't want this to become a result of him not liking school. Any advice?

I'm only 5 weeks pregnant, so I'm obviously not showing yet. But I can't hide the fact that I'm sick. I've been off of work for almost a week, but luckily I have other symptoms like coughing and runny nose. So people just think I have a bad head cold. I sit in a cubicle all day typing, but this pregnancy is bringing me dizziness, which is giving me trouble with focusing. If my boss comes up behind me unexpectedly, and I'm not working because I'm dizzy, she may think I'm being lazy. Any suggestions on how to stop the dizziness or hide it?

Ok, so I have a 5 yr old cousin that acts like she's five years older than ME. She's always bossing me around and threatens to cry if I don't do what she says. @ minutes ago She was whining for me to go to barbie.com. I wouldn't, so she tried to rip my brand new dress, I yanked her hand away and the force sent her reeling backwards out of her chair, she didn't even fall alll the way down, but she had this huge spazz attack. I really want to do Caliana for my next girls name... I have a daughter named Talya Jolene Delp already - Talya is Hebrew and means "Heavens Dew" and Jolene is a combination of my parents names Joe and Darlene - which is special

Caliana means Princess and Cali which she will be called for short means "Beautful" so she is my beautiful princess

I am having trouble on the middle name ...was thinking of doing Caliana Marie since it is my middle name to pass on but lots of people seem to not like that and Marie is overused so I am not sure

I was also thinking about Faye (my mother-in-laws middle name), Faith or Hope (Since it is taking longer to get pregnant than I thought) - Jalie (My first name and sisters first name mixed - Jaime and Julie)

Let me know what you think - one of those options or if you have thought of something better that is cute with it than I am open to suggestions as well (exclude Rose and Grace - to popular right now as well)

I'd like the meaning and origin. I've heard it as a last name, though maybe its the guy's middle name or "stage name" bc he is a DJ. There is also a singer I guess named Alex Kallao, but I've heard of it as a first name and I liked it. If someone FINDS it on a name website that would be great!

It sounded Hawaiian to me, but then I looked it up in a Hawaiian dictionary and it doesn't exist.

I found it once on a website saying it means "pure" but the origin was blank and the names close to it in ABC order were arabic or others middle eastern so maybe??

And I googled it and it came up also as its "meaning" in the New Testament for 1 Cor. 6:16 as "unity" though it wasn't the word Kallao itself (they even had a word as proskallao talking about union too) as if it was a translation from another language of the Bible.

I'm not looking for critics or other name suggestions.

Hi just wondering about my 10 week old baby boys gums and teeth. I know its not impossible for him to be getting teeth now but it is unlikely. Obviously this is my first baby so i am unsure on how the gums should look. i can see teeth. the shape and the whiteness where the tooth looks very close to the surface of the gum. My mum, who has 4 children says he is not teething but i just cant stop looking at them and thinking they look like teeth ready to break through??? advice please????
