I am kinda paranoid I guess you would call it because I am only 14 and trying to be as good as a mom I can be. She is 4 weeks old and every since last week I made this chart type thing that says: Ate Wet Dirty How long she cried & start to end of crying How long she slept- start to end.
Would you call this weird or am I doing a good job? I always took them to her doctor every week (she had a doctor appt every week since she was born) and he says its great because it answers all of his questions.

This will be my first child and I would just like some advice about some things to do and things to avoid. I just took a pregnancy test this morning and have not yet been to the doctor. I know that is the first thing my husband and I should do...but then what?

I am 38w 4d along. I've read that castor oil can induce labor, but it can also cause fetal distress. Can you tell me your experience when taking castor oil? I also don't want to go into labor too soon.. would it be better to wait till I'm closer to my due date? Thanks for all your help!

My sons PKU test came back abnormal. The nurse said it could be because he was underweright when he was born, but he was 7lbs, and perfectly healthy. Has anyone ever had an abnormal test, and then have it come back again OK? Should I be worried?

I've started to potty train my 11 month old to do number 1 on a potty. He does number 2 on the potty since 5 months. I want to finish training before the summers end. The thing is that he sometimes goes every 15 minutes, sometimes nothing for hours.
Anyone has experience doing it? I know that some of you may think this is too early. But seriously, before there were diapers we were trained by our 1st year. plus training them 1 year earler really hepls the environment, since it saves like 2000 diapers.

I am due with my first baby in 5 weeks and was just wondering... I read that many babies don't mind the bottle being room temp. and that if you don't ever start giving the bottle to them warm, they never know the difference. sure would be easier

My daughter is 4 months old, and I am exclusively breastfeeding. In the beginning I stored a lot of breast milk in the freezer as backup for when I returned to work. I have been working for a month and a half. At first my baby took the thawed breast milk just fine but then began to refuse it. I discovered that the thawed milk does not smell the same as the fresh and kind of smells like spoiled milk. I am frustrated by this because I have read that frozen breast milk should last for several months, but even the milk I have frozen for less than a month smells spoiled when thawed ( I am thawing it by placing the bags it is stored in in warm water). Has this happened to anyone else? Why is my milk not staying good as long as it is supposed to frozen?

I have an 11 month old. I would love to keep giving her formula till she is at least 15 months.She is now on similac go and grow which she loves and wears pampers cruisers during the day ( they leak) and huggies overnite at night. BUt all this is getting expensive. She is a big girl(24lb at 9mons) and wear size 5 diapers(big bum too). Hear the store brand diaper sizes can be tricky.

I am 23 yr old, and Ive been diagnosed with PCOS, my gynecologist has prescribed me Dydrogesterone of 10 mg to regularize my periods, happily they have become regular, but...does anyone of you know how long it could take for a woman with PCOS to get pregnant? and if I get pregnant, is it too risky for me and the baby?

My son just turned one this past Saturday, and I am 23 weeks pregnant with my second. I am 25 years old. I notice that people look at me strangely sometimes when I am out in public because they notice I have a small child with me and I'm obviously carrying a second. I am sure part of it has to do with my age, as I live in a community where it is more common to see women in their 30's with small babies. However many strange looks I get, I'll occasionally get someone (usually another mother 10 years older than me with children the same age) that makes a rude remark, like "Didn't you use birth control" or "Don't you know how that happens" right down to even "What were you thinking, having one after the other??"
It's getting very frustrating. My husband and I chose to have another baby, and we can financially support them both. How can I tactfully respond to some of these rude remarks?

A few nights ago I walked in on my daughter and my neighbor in bed together. I am furious because of his age. He new she was only 16, but I also knew she liked older men. I have a son who is now 4 he is very hyper most of the time he has not taken naps since he was 2 when bed time comes I tried really hard to get him on a schule but he will not settle down I force him to sleep around 11pm sometimes its later then I have to get him up around 7:30a.m. to pick up the 11 month old I babysit to get him to sleep we tried laying him our bed and he cries and wants to watch t.v. we let him for a little while the we turn it off and he cried one more min. we say no we tried getting a big boy bed for his room he want even sleep in it I have to set in the recliner hold him like a new born baby and make him go to sleep my friend tells me he might have adhd but I refuse to put him on medication and have him druged up way to many side effects so thats out of the question maybe someone know a home remedie or something any advise? am I alone on this or has anyone else had or having this problem
