well my daughters name is hidaya. i am a muslim american and it is an arabic name meaning when you are guided from the wrong path to the straight path.
mostly you should look for a meaning that is strong. and dont go with typical names you hear everyday. like hannah or brittany. there are so many of those already. you dont want to yell for your kid and have 5 run to greet you. i would start looking at international names like some from africa,europe,places far away to give the child a unique name. i met a women who said her daughters name was kiyah very pretty. but here are a few names i like
yasmine or jasmine, amina(princess), nessrine,safiya,helena,sabrine,iman(faith), salima(complete) shaima,(good natured). that is just a few but there is a website with 22000 names called www.babynamesworld.com it has from all over the world. i wish you luck and hope you find the perfect name for your baby. living_straight@yahoo.com
