I've seen many negative test results in our 2 years before we got pregnant. And whenever I wanted to test, here's what I did:

I thought about how I'd react if I got a negative test. If I thought I could handle it, I'd test. If I thought it would ruin my day, I waited.

Best of luck!

You should test on the first day of your missed period. Unfortunately the symptoms you describe are also signs of PMS, so there's no way to know for sure that these are pregnancy symptoms.
