No. this women either has pre cancerous cells that need to be taken care of immediately or she is lying about being pregnant. However, I saw a women who was diagnosed with a cervical tumor. The tumor continued to grow for 9 months and then there was a baby. The baby came out and there still was indeed a tumor in this women..she had no idea that she was pregnant because the Dr.s only saw a tumor. The tumor was then removed. But my point is, there is definately something wrong for tests to be coming back negative and periods coming and her STILL being pregnant. Please get a second opinion, and a third and then a fourth before something could go terribly wrong. Good luck!

I suppose anything is possible, but I don't think it is very likely. Even if she wasn't tested for pregnancy at her yearly exam, the doctor should have at least suspected that she was pregnant from the physical exam.

A woman can have so called periods throughout pregnancy, but i am almost 100% sure that after the first trimester the HPT would be positive. Maybe i am wrong but that is my opinion.

If you concieve you can still have a period but it isnt normal to have anymore than one while being pregnant depending on how close you were to your cycle before conciving. As for you having a period and the pregnancy test showing back up negetive I seriously doubt your preganant. Take another test in 1 week to make sure though-you never know.

Nope. The HPT test for hormones that are in abundance through pregnancy if you don't have the hormone levels it needs to pick up then you aren't. Only definitive way is by a blood test.

If you've had a yearly exam... and were pregnant at the time - the doctors could tell, and I'm assuming they would say something to you. (That would just be silly if they didn't.)
Your cervix changes when you're pregnant and it's something that would be noticed during a yearly exam.

People can get pregnant and still have their periods. It's just sort of rare. As for the test, I'm not sure.

My mom had her period up to her 5th month with my sister. I don't know about the HPT though. My sister was born really early though, and I'm not sure if the periods had anything to do with it
