I have seen many posts by mothers here that refer to children as 'my' child. Even though they are talking about an issue between them and their spouse, they question goes, 'What should I do when my husband does ... to my children?'

Why isn't this 'our' children? Don't the father's have rights also? Or are we just suppose to be a silent wallet?

25 years old. I am 8 weeks pregnant and Now i need some advise. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years now and he's been really abusive the last year. verbally and physically. I decided i had to make the right decision today and move out and leave him. This is tearing me up inside. i'm so upset. Now he's calling me telling me he's sorry and all this. How can i stay strong and keep to my decision. Ive been so upset lately, that i throw this huge crying screaming fits. I know this isnt good for the baby. How do i know if the baby is still ok? i have no bleeding or anything. please, I need some good advice.

My daughter will be 5 this month and for the last year or so I have been having issues with her and her clothing. She wants to wear nothing but dresses and skirts and thinks it is punishment to wear shorts or pants. I don't think skirts and dresses are always appropriate attire when at school or doing outdoor activities. I get such grief from her (including the guilt giving tears), but I put my foot down. Does anyone else have this problem?

I hade my period oncein the last 2 and a half months and it was heavy but lasted 2 days and my period last allll week. My boobs don't hurt but they did grow. I do get dizzys, lazy, moody, but everyone says I've lost weight and I'm never hungry. I'm confused and worried am I pregent??

If we have a boy my husband wants to name him Alexander Enzo Phillips.. Im Italian and Enzo is extremely popular in Italy but you dont hear that name hardly ever in the states, and my husband likes it because hes obssesed with cars. He also likes Alexander because he can be called Alex or Xander.. im just not sure what I think of the middle name..


For Girls we have picked Addison and Aubrey but still have trouble with a middle name that really flows

My husband and I really like the name but hardly any body else in the family does we think it is really pretty, its is our child we should be able to name it what we want, right,
We will call it Kashmir but those who dont like the name can call it Kassy
Kashmir not cashmere if from our fav Led Zeplin song we are both fans
Rose is from Dr Who a tv series that most poople probably dont watch, but we both love it

and onle last thing we want a different uncommon name that no one else has I dont like popular common names I want something origonal

I work from 7:30 to 4:30 Mon thru Fri, husband works nights and takes care of baby during the day. Hubby says baby will not eat food or drink her bottle. When I get home baby will eat 2 jars of food for me. Also, she will not drink anything but breast milk. HELP!

I recently got married in May a few days after my 18th birthday. My husband is 23 and were both trying to start a family. We've been trying since we got married and its frustrating that I haven't gotten pregnant yet. I never took birth control so thats not what it is. If anyone has any tips please let me know. OK I HAVE 4 BABIES, I HATE TO SPANK MY KIDS BUT SOMETIMES NOTHING ELSE WORKS. I PUT THEM IN THE CORNER, GIVE THEM A TIME OUT, AND I EVEN TRY TO TALK TO THEM TO MAKE THEM SEE THAT THEY MAKE MOMMY UPSET.

At work there are like nine prego cashiers, just a coincidence, but I am the last one due, every one is having their baby before me, and it seems like every customer, that comes in is really prego or already has thier baby, it makes me kinda jealous, and impatient that every body I see gets or has thier baby before me, I am having a hard time waiting six more months its seems like forever, I want my baby now.

Okay my husband and I have been trying to conceive for a while now ( about 5 months). For the last few months I have been using ovulation tests. Now, I have never had a problem with before. I have been using them regularly every 3-4 days regardless of a positive or negative result. Now, here is the thing....Exactly two weeks ago tomorrow I got a super strong positive....it stayed like this for two days, my hubby and I did our thing and then I went back to getting negatives....perfectly normal right?? Well for some odd reason this morning I thought just for kicks I'm going take one....I was sure it would be negative being that I ovulated two weeks ago...but no...it was a super strong positive!! What the heck?!?! How can I get a positive ovulation test two weeks ago..then a bunch of negatives and another + two weeks later....what gives?? I know I don't have PCOS or anything like that...Why would they do this??

Does anyone else have severe pain when ovulating? I keep getting bad pain in my abdomen each cycle when I ovulate. I have been ttc for 4 months months so I have it charted. I know some women have mittelschmertz but I did not know it could be this bad. I have been to the gyn's, there is nothing else wrong.... no infections or anything of the like. Does anyone else know of or experience the same?
