None at all, unless you're attempting to limit the spread of herpes or another ill.
Late in pregnancy, sperm contains prostaglandins that can begin labor, so some couples use condoms then. (And some just go like rabbits, because they're tired of being pregnant!)

Yes, it would serve the purpose of preventing the transmission of STDs, which is still QUITE important!

If you've both been STD tested, then no. The baby is protected by a mucus plug, so until her weater breaks, your semen cannot get to and harm the baby, and she cannot get pregnant with a second baby.

Only if you or she is having sex with other partners or if either of you has an STD. It would prevent the spread of sexually transmitted diseases. Other than that, no reason.
