my daughter is turning 3 this april. she learns fast & she has a good memory. i'm thinking of enrolling her this year. she stays with my family & she's the only kid there. if she goes to school then she can mingle with other kids & play with them. and learn at the same time. but isn't it too early? i want her to enjoy her childhood.

It has been 8 years since my last child so please help me out. My 7 mo. old is teething and he is also pulling at his ears. He recently had a cold but the doctor said his ears look fine. Could it be that the pain travels up his jawline into his ears?

My mucus plug broke today. So I decided to go to the hospital just to make sure everything was ok. But I went back home. I'm not in pain or anything. No bad contractions. I'm due Feb. 20th. Why did my mucus plug broke then? This will be my third child but this is my first time seeing this "plug". My two other kids i just had pain, went to hospital and had baby. Why the false alarm?

I don't know whether or not I am still pregnant and wanted to know if anyone has gone through this experience.
My hubby and I found out we were pregnant in Dec 06 the day before New Year's. We went for an u/s b/c I started spotting at five weeks and there was no heartbeat and fetal pole. At eight weeks we went back b/c I was spotting again. There was a heartbeat 121 hp/m and a gestational sac and fetal pole. They estimated the gestational sac to be at 7 weeks. I started spotting again at 10 weeks, went for a u/s and they don't see a heartbeat and detect the fetal pole and gestational sac are at 7 weeks and 4 days. I was told I had a missed miscarriage.
I still have my symptoms of pregnancy (bloated tummy could be due to large uterine fibroid of 9cm), but no sore breasts no vomitting etc.
My OBGYN wants me to go for another u/s in a few days to determine whether my pregnancy is non-viable b/c I haven't expelled the baby and I am just spotting not bleeding heavily. Any thoughts?

Conception date?
I'm trying to figure out my conception date and the baby's dad. I have no idea when my last period was. My due date is May17th, 2007. I had sex on July 12th, 2006 with one guy (only once) then again on July 25th, 2006 with the other and several other times with him (we are now married). I need to know it's driving me crazy!

Thank you for your thoughtful and comprehensive reply. I am very pleased to hear you want to go forward with this plan. Also happy to hear about your update regarding the store.

In fact, I already have mostly cleared out the room upstairs that will go to you. It sure looks a lot bigger without all that stuff in there. I wanted to see if there really was enough space for my baby and I to share one room. Well, my baby and my clothes fit in the same closet without any problem. I moved my computer downstairs, and once that was out of the way, pretty much all mine and my baby's bedroom stuff fit without any undue effort. Still have some organizing work to do, and a few more trips to Goodwill & the trashcan.

On a different note, I have not yet gotten my tax refund, which was going to fund my travel to your house. My baby 's birthday broke my budget this month plus I overpaid on my loan, not thinking about things like gas money. Although, it is still possible I will get that refund tomorrow (Tuesday). I will let you know how that turns out.

If we don't chat tonight, have a nice sleep, interesting dreams, and I will get in touch w/you tomorrow.

I'm 14 and when I was younger I heard stories of older girls thinking that they were fat and I always thought that it would never happen to me. Now I'm very self consiuos about myself, not to the point of anirexia, but I don't feel comfortable going to the beach in a bikini and stuff like that. In fact I don't think I'm fat at all, I just have a pudge that I can't seem to get rid of, in my eyes, I look pregnant. I'm about 5'1" and 103 pounds so I'm pretty small but that pudge is driving me crazy. I've tried exercise, healthy diets, even crash diets but nothing seems to work. If this is how you feel or how you felt, please give me some tips or just let me know that it's just a phase and it happens to all teenage girls.

My daughter Emma is 5 months old. She ONLY uses the pacifier at naps and bedtime. It seems like I need to stop the pacifier completely, since it is the only reason she either stays awake or wakes up...because it fell out! But now my husband and I are noticing that she will cry even with it in. It seems like she is just having a hard time putting herself back to sleep.
She goes down great for naps, usually for 2-3 hrs. And goes right to sleep at bedtime too (6:00). She wakes up though every few hours. I know she is not hungry, since she is on rice cereal and jar food, plus nuring. It is just that she needs help going back to sleep. My gut tells me she needs to learn to fall asleep on her own, but I have been reading so much about this causing a trust issue with the baby, and maybe other damage? I know I cried it out as a baby, and it happens all the time. I just need some advice..I feel like it is the right thing, but I am still not sure 100%.

My daughter is 18 monthes and we just moved to a new city. Our insurance assigned the family a primary care physician. It's a famly practice dr and I have always taken her to a peditatrician. I am allowed to change if i want to, but is it neccesary. Will she get the same quality care that she would from a ped? Any advice would be great.

My baby is taking 15 to 20 ounces per day. I think it's not enough to my 6th month baby.currently i am using Enfamil lipil. Now i want to swith to Similac. can i use both formulas to my baby or only one and how to introduce new formula.Your opinions are appreciated.

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant. Let me tells you me and my hubby have cut it down majorly. Since i found out i was pregnant( i found out really early on) we have only been having sex once a week. But let me tell you ladies it's the best sex in the WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD! Almost like i am being reborn when i am "coming"! Is this normal? and why does it feel so good? And thank the lord for this one awesome side effect of pregnancy!!!!!!!
