I am 11 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I plan to wait until I am 16-20 weeks to tell my boss and announce it to everyone outside of my family.

When was it noticeable that you were pregnant?

I am hoping I can wear baggy clothes since its winter time so I can hide it. How many weeks do you think I might be able to "hide" my pregnancy.

P.S. The baby was planned and is wanted by me and my hubby. :)

I just got my medicaid card (gold card) in the mail for my pregnancy,with my last pregnancy the card said "babyaof..my name..." on it,well this card says only my name and i was just wondering if its the same thing and should it matter if it doesnt say babyaof on it?and what does your medicaid gold card say on it? thanks

My baby had a bad cough for two weeks, we didn't go out until he got better. three days ago we went to my dad's house for his b-day. I made sure to bundle him up very well and I stayed inside the whole time because it was a little cold outside. Today he woke up with a bad cough,plegms and congestion. The doctor's medcation didn't seem to work. People say that when we're too overprotective they get sick more often. I'm confused and I think I'm just gonna stay home till the bad weather is over. It hurts me to see him like this.

I am 10 weeks pregnant, at 8 weeks we had an ultrasound and everything looked great. My doctor is confident everything will be alright. This is our first baby and was very much planned in every way, but I don't want everyone to know.

We told both of our familes and 4 close friends, but we have no intention on annoucing it anytime soon. My husband is okay with not telling anyone until I am showing.

Is it normal for me to want to keep my pregnancy to myself? I have two friends that told everyone as soon as they got a positive test, am I weird for keeping it a secret? I just feel it is private topic for me.

I have an 8 yr old girl a 5 yr old girl and 1 on the way I am divorced and recently engaged to my fiance he has a child a 4 yr old boy that we see on weekends ....I admit my children are not angels and they seem to have a smartmouth on them. But I cant see spanking my children as he thinks I should Mind you he does not spank his child for anything his excuse is he only sees him on weekends ...but why does that make a diffrence? If he feels so strongly about disiplining my children with a spanking why doesn't he feel the same way about his own? When I refuse to hit my children for the things that they do he calls me a bad mom and says they will run over me when they are older but with him always bashing me for it I dont even want to get onto them at all when its needed please help with my situation I am lost with what to do

I'm due to have my baby on 1st June and am thinking about feeding options. I know breast is best but the thought of it has always made me feel ill. I dont know why, I knows its natural and best etc so please dont jump on me for that. So I was planning on bottle feeding but I want to do whats best for the baby, I was wondering could I breast feed for the first week or so just so baby gets the collostrum then switch to bottle feeding or is it not worth doing it for that short a time? Would it just confuse baby. I know after the birth I may change my mind and want to breast feed anyway, but I'm not banking on it!
I'll talk it over with my midwife at some point but I'm not due to see her for a while so I thought I'd ask here.

i believe i had a miscarrage, but i hadnt been to the doctor yet, my appointment is on friday. i took 2 PT tests 2 weeks apart and they both came up postive. but this cramping and bleeding wont stop. will the doctor be able to tell if i was for sure pregnant and had a miscarriage? or not.

I want to start eating healthier but I'm only 12 and my mom is almost against health food because she thinks it all tastes bad. She says that if something she makes is healthy on it's own, that is fine, but she won't try to be healthy on purpose. It isn't fair! I can't buy groceries for myself because I have no money. She says If I don't want to eat the unhealthy food I don'y have to, but it is all we have so my choice is to eat unhealthy food or not eat at all. To make matters worse she is constantly making cakes and puddinds and cookies and stuff. It isn't fair! And it is very confusing because almost every mom in the world would love it if their kid asked to eat healthier. What should I do?
