Yeah baby girl! You lost your mucus plug! Be careful doing everything from now on okay. Your mucus plug protected your baby from everything that entered your vagina...i.e. sperm from having sex. So just be extra careful. You can still have sex, but don't over do it...none of the rough stuff. Just easy does it.
Oh, don't sit down and take a bath either. After you lose your plug, you can't sit in a tub of water or a pool either.
Good luck with everything!
p.s. If you are really ready to have your baby, then walk everyday at least for 30 mins. That will get your baby moving further down into your birth canal. It may be a couple of days or a week until you have your baby, so remember my advice...be careful! :)

it should be a mucus texture and almost creamy in color that comes out and most likely have a stream of blood in it and quite big...then again some do come out in pieces, so if it was just a bit keep your eye out for more...looks like you will ahve the baby within the next week...Good Luck and Congratulations

It can be a thick discharge... it can come out in chunks... it can come out in one big chunk and be clear, slightly greenish, or blood tinted. If it's bright bright red see your doc asap... that's bad. Anything else is totallly normal.
I lost mine today and it looked like a big huge bugger with blood in it LOL sooooo not the nicest thing to find in your panties let me tell ya.

If a big lump of stuff just fell out than that's what it is. But don't expect to go into labor right away...not to dissappoint. My son happened right away, and my daughter took another week or so...Good Luck

yup . When you start seeing that it is tingles with red then you will start labor in 2 hours or so . When you see red go to the hospital unless you start to go into hard contractions . You don't always loose your mucus plug well let me rephrase you won't always loose all your mucus plug sometimes . So don't depend on that . OK good luck .

Yes, that's probably it. It could be today or it could be in two weeks. At 39 weeks, it'll happen soon either way!
