If you are pregnant then it is impossible to have a period. Many women report getting what seem like regular periods during early pregnancy. How can this be? First of all, it helps to realize that since the hormones of pregnancy totally prevent ovulation, the bleeding is not truly a menstrual period, but rather early pregnancy bleeding. That said, the perception of having a menstrual period (or more than one) in early pregnancy can confuse the due date and delay some pregnant women from seeking appropriate and timely medical care.

You could be pregnant, but you can also have a tract infection, like the other user mentioned previously. Trust me, the symptoms mad seem convincing but it may be more serious than u think. And the back pains may suggest that the infection has spread to you kidney. You may feel nauseated often, even more when you're in a tight room, but it may be a UTI. If your pains are on the back are towards the side, or on the side, and they feel like an aching sensation, take a trip to the clinic, because it just may be your inflamed kidney. i went through the same thing. I ended up having a UTI. Dont stress yet, grrrl! lol

Sound like it could be a urinary infection. Not uncommon. Your doctor can tell from a urine specimen pretty easily.
