We've used both the Playtex Nurser Ststem and Gerber Comfort Grip bottles. When we first buy a bottle, we boil it to sterilize it, but after that everything (pacifiers included) goes into the dishwasher. We put it all on the top shelf, the bottles fit right next to the cups and glasses and the nipples and other accessories go into the baskets that we have just for that purpose (see link below).

We just throw them in after a quick rinse wash them with all our other dishes.

We've always used silicon nipples and have never had a problem with them being affected in any way by the dishwasher except getting clean.

Good luck.

yes they are. i put them in the dishwasher all the time. they come out clean. when the dishwasher is going, the water is hot enough and the steam dry i would think would steralize the bottles. just make sure there are no soap deposits on the bottles or nipples. at many stores like walmart you can buy things to hold the nipples and the tops of the bottles for in the dishwasher.

Many people have different opinions about doing this. I did it with both of my kids, 6 and 2 now, and they never got sick and it didnt hurt them. I didnt have the money or the time to boil them or buy disposable bottle liners. You can find suff in the store to put the nipples in so they arent every where in your dishwasher. It doesnt hurt the baby and its so much eaiser to put bottles in the dishwasher. Good luck!

i think it's ok to put it all in there, but i would have read the package the bottle came in before throwing it away

my cousin dishwashes the bottles, and they're ok-as is her daughter

but maybe if you have doubts, just wash the bottle in the dishwasher and the nipple by hand.

no there's nothing wrong with putting them in the dish washer though you might want to look into getting one of those baskets that are made just for the nipples and other small parts of the baby bottle.

Absolutely -- just put them on the top. There is a nipple holder -- any baby section in the stores should carry them. You might need to replace the nipples a little more often, they tend to get sticky feeling.

Just put them on the top row. Then put the nipples on the spike things that hold the dishes in place!
