I'm not sure what state you're in, every state has a different Medicaid card but I believe that you'll have your own while pregnant and your baby can use your card until you get their card with their own name. Typically, with Medicaid everyone has their own card with their own name on it.

I am currently on Medicaid and my card is just a plain white card with my name on it I have never even heard of a gold card but I guess that varies from state to state I would just call my medicaid worker and ask them thats the best way to know

I was on medicaid during pregnancy. My name was the only thing on it. When my baby was born, He got his own card so I wouldn't worry about it. When you can I would ask the dhs office about it, or you could proably even ask the doctor if that is how the card is supposed to be!

My medicaid card said my first and last name with an ID number, and then it said unborn baby______(my last name) with her ID number. I would call them and see why your unborn child isn't on the card. Right now the medicaid is for you. Maybe after your baby is born they will put its name on the card. I would call anyways though.

I have medicaid and pregnant, I receive a gold card with just my name on it, ID number etc..., my son has his own medical card he received after he was born. I'm sure that my baby will receive her own card when she is born also. But, it varies state to state. I would just call your carrier and ask.

this will be a state requirement. There are minimum federal regulations that should be followed for Medicaid; notwithstanding, there are also regulations a state can impose. In my state in user-friendly words the human beings being lined want to present documentation; the letter i have considered especially says to present documentation of all activities searching for coverage. you'll likely want to call them.
