My toddler (20 mo) developed (what I think is) contact eczema about two months ago. It looks like dozens of little red spots around her mouth that suddenly come up. We were very careful about weaning her because there is a history of nut allergy in the family and I kept a detailed diary of what she ate for the first year but there were no reactions. She has always enjoyed eating tomatoes and citrus fruits, but when the rash first appeared, it only took about three weeks and a bolognaise to see that tomatoes where clearly a trigger. I have seen the reaction again several times when she has managed to steal tomotoes from friends' plates at play-dates. We have also isolated oranges but there is definately something else. Any ideas as to other common triggers? I've tried everything but by the time they get to toddlerhood it's almost impossible to track down the cause. Has anyone else's child developed an allergy late on and did it cure itself?

i have been dizzy. nauseated, lack of appetite, weird cramp like things that feel like some one is puching me in the tummy and holding there fist there, then while "its" there my chest gets a squished feeling. while the cramps are happening there is no chance of me moving cuz it hurts. i get really hot all of a sudden to i could be where a t shirt and shorts and all of a sudden i'm dieing of heat. some of my friends and there friends think it may be the big P but i dunno???? all my symptoms have beeing going on for more then a week now. help me out please

I live in a suburban middle class neighborhood. There is a street lamp on the edge of my property. A couple of weeks ago, I couldn't sleep, so I got up to heat myslef a mug of warm milk. (This usually helps me get back to sleep). Anyway, while the cup was in the microwave heating up, I hear some laughter outside. Curious, I look out my front window, and passing by under the street light I see about 4 or 5 neighborhood teens, about 14-16 years old, walking up the street. They were all girls. Nothing too terribly abnormal so far, only that they were naked. Some had on only underwear, but others were totally naked. The reason I ask, and what has been on my mind, is that I recognized one of the girls. And I know her parents and know that her parents, who are very conservative and religous, would freek over knowing this. My question is this: should I tell her parents what I saw, or just let it go? I have kept it to myself so far.

I wanted to know if this has happened with your baby girl. My little one is 13 months old and is very possesive. When I try to hold my husband in bed and she is there she swats me away or she will literally wedge herself between us. She will even give me dirty looks if I hold him and cuddle with him. Yesterday she climbed on him in bed and said mine, mine!. Does anyone out there have the same problem as if your daughter believes that daddy is for her and no one else?

I am currently 35 weeks pregnant with my second child(My due date is Feb 18th). My husband is deployed and was set to come home around Feb 11th. I am 2-3 cm dilated....my doctor says I am still "pretty thick" and that my baby isnt very engaged yet. I lost my mucous plug after my exam last Wednesday. I have been having some contractions that are not regular. Considering all that is happening would my hubby be better off coming home more around Feb 1st? He only has 14 days at home. We don't want him to miss the birth! My next doctor's appointment isnt till the 23rd and my doctor told me not to worry unless I have dilated more by then....but I am still paranoid he will miss it! Anyway, what are your opinions?

I am 43 and having problems TTC. I know it's not impossible, but the odds drop drastically when you're my age and older. I am interested in hearing experiences and open to any helpful information you can provide. I would also like to hear from women that achieved pregnancy WITHOUT the help of fertility drugs.

Okay, I was a school one day and my friends and I were talking, I don't know how the subject changed but they started talking about...you know s_x. It was only two of us girls there and maybe three guys. They starting talking about girls that denied them it. They were like if it happens again they would push them down a force them because they had no RIGHT the change their minds. Then one boy said that all girls are good for is that and we should learn to just shut our mouths and open our legs. So I slapped him. Why do boys have to be so stupid!

It has been a while since I have had a newborn. My other daughter is 6. When the peeling process starts with the newborn skin, how long does that lasts? When the umbilical cord falls off, do I need to still be cleaning it with the alcohol swabs? Do newborn gums have a little white color in it as if you would be able to see where the teeth would come in? Someone told me that you could use the spring water like aquafina to add to the formula if you didn't want to have to boil the water. Can you? What all should my little one be doing now? Thanks
