I am 43 and having problems TTC. I know it's not impossible, but the odds drop drastically when you're my age and older. I am interested in hearing experiences and open to any helpful information you can provide. I would also like to hear from women that achieved pregnancy WITHOUT the help of fertility drugs.

Well, I don't quite meet your criteria but I did conceive without the aid of drugs right around my 41st birthday and had a healthy baby a few months before turning 42.

Sadly, I can't give you any pointers. We were just lucky.

Hope you are too.

i like this question a million. First- how long have you ever been TTC? considering would 2008 2. Are you TTC toddler #a million or 2 or ? TTC#a million after 3 miscarriages 3. What are you hoping to concieve (boy, woman)? Or do you not have a decision? We the two choose woman yet we are able to be better than happy just to concieve and have a healthful toddler 4. Do you have names picked out already (just to call some) ? particularly, we are only guessing, yet we are able to be responsive to later on if I ever conceive. 5. have you ever seen/planned for forms of transport? medical institution and with an epidural. i'm getting heavy heavy cramps with my era so i be responsive to what's in keep for me.

My grandmother got pregnant at age 44 and was using the rhythm method and was going through menopause. My mom and her were pregnant at the same time so my aunt is 3 months and 6 days older than me and 23 years younger than her oldest sibling (my mom) and 22 years younger than the middle child (there were only 3 kids). She didn't know she was pregnant though...thought she had a tumor.

and my aunt was a perfectly healthy baby.

I would have OB run some blood work on you. Check your hormone levels to see what your egg reserve is like. If it is really high, like the 20s, it is going to be difficult. Also, as you know, our egg quality dramatically decreases after 35 and especially 40. M/C rates are also higher. Good luck. Do talk to your OB.
