If he's not running a temp and is behaving normally I wouldn't worry about it. He could be going through a growth spurt. Usually kids will eat and sleep a lot more than they normally do right before they have a growth spurt. Only you can tell if he seems his normal self when he's awake. If no symptoms of illness show up soon, you might want to make sure you have some pants in the next size up handy, :-)

Of course the first thing you should do is call your baby's doctor.
This happened to my daughter when she was about the same age. When I took her to her peditrician it turned out that she had a virus and was sleeping because she didn't feel well (even though when she was awake she was happy and agreeable).
Two days after seeing the doctor she broke out in a rash which was part of the virus. Then, a few days later it was gone and she was back to her old self.
So, I recommend that you call the dr. It's alway better to be safe than sorry when dealing with children. Since they can't tell you what hurts let someone trained to look at them fill you in.

sounds like hes got a bug. Luckily its notmaking him grouchy or is it? If hes fine when he is awake and feeding ok then id say leave it a couple of days before going to the doctor. If not then you should take him to the docs or a&e if you cant get an appointment. What about the days leading up to it had he over excerted himself? could just be catching up with hin. If hes got a temperature id definately get him seen by a doc. better safe then sorry

You might want to get him into the doc today or at least call the desk nurse. Sounds like he might be pretty sick. Is he coughing? Diarrhea? How's his eating? Just some things to look at, but I'd be on the phone to the nurse to ask for some guidance.

it is regrettably generic. My toddler is 3 weeks previous and he sleeps lots for the duration of the day then purely like your toddler while 11pm rolls around hes conscious! Ive chanced on that co drowsing with my toddler works fairly lots and for some reason he will sleep so lots extra advantageous while hes laying subsequent to me as against laying in his crib. additionally i come across the sounds of the coastline (noise gadget) help him to sleep at nighttime too. I havent tried it yet yet human beings say you could shop toddler wide awake for the duration of the day by messing with them, taking their outfits off, and so on.
