How about bowling? He should be big enough to handle a kids' ball and you could bowl with or without bumpers. It's a couple hours of fun and pretty cheap. If you wanted to have a pizza or cake at the alley, they usually can do that pretty fast and you could have Superman plates, cups and napkins. Have a great day!

What about taking him to the movies? I don't know what you're budget is. Chuck E Cheese's? Maybe you could take him to blockbuster and let him pick a movie he wants to watch together as a family. Or just play some games together or something. That's about all I can think of to do as a family without it being too costly.

The zoo is a good idea, the movies, Chuck E Cheeses, Woody Woodchucks, a sports event. I'm sure he'd appreciate just about anything as long he is with the ones he loves.

Have a picnic. Even if the weather is bad, you can have the picnic indoors. Just spread a blanket on the floor and eat sandwiches or hotdogs. Play silly games and sing songs. Your son will love having his family pay attention to him and do things he enjoys.

Pack birthday picnic lunch and go to a park or weather permitting go to the beach ask a few of family and friends to make it a special day.Kids love that as long they are with you that makes it special for them play games kick a ball. hope this helps hope yous have a happy birthday

My son turned 4 in Nov. and we took him bowling. He had an absolute blast...as did we :)
