I have 2 small children ages 2 years and 4 months. I have gained a lot of weight in the last two years and need some exercise tips to lose that baby bulge. I need something that will fit with my busy schedule. I work full-time so there's not much time left to work out unless it is before the kids wake up in the morning or after they go to bed at night.

My wife and I have three young children. Two boys and a girl.

I think we are entering "activity" overload. It has become so that on weekdays from the time I get off work till bed we are in juggle mode. Dance, Karate, pewee football, soccer, church group cubbies, gymnastics.
Have any of you other parents figured out where to draw the line.

Okay i'm a day late. this is not a normal thing for me. I was suppose to come on yesterday and nothing. I cramped as I usually do while on my cycle. I knew for sure that it would be on this morning and nothing. Still cramping a little andnow i'm starting to feel a little sick but I think this is due to nerves(lol) Have there anybody on here that experienced the same thing and what was the outcome. I have had no symptoms no swollen or tender breast no nothing except for last month I was sick but my cycle came on as normal. This has me concerned because I'm always normal. any suggestions?

My period is now 4 days late. I usualy have an irregular period but when i take a HPT on those months in which i am late the test always comes out negitive. About three months ago i had bought a value pack of HPT'S the box came with 3 sticks. Since I used one and it came out neg. I just put the others away. Now I had pulled one of the saved HPT's out this morning to see if I am PG, and the test came out Positive. But i was wondering If it could be a false because of how long I just had it stored away??? Also because I have been very careful when engaging in any sexual contact with my BF. We always use a condom. I just don't think I'm PG and i wanted to know if anyone thinks that the test is wrong or could i be PG??? Thank You P.S: my Breast are sore, But i usually get that around my period also. I'm tiered but I just came over the flu.

I have a 14 year old son from a previous marraige. His biological father left when he was 6 months old and my current husband is "Dad". I was pretty young when I had him (barely 20). I feel ready to have another but I'm afraid I've waited too long. (I'm still only in my mid 30's and I have a major case of baby fever!) I'm healthy enough (already talked with the doctor).

I read there are areas in Africa where you have a high rate of multiple births which can be attributed to the amount of Yams they eat. I know you cannot get Yams in the USA, only Sweet Potatoes (Companies call Sweet Potatoes Yams but if you check the label the ingrediants are Sweet Potatoes). Do Sweet Potatoes have the same impact as Yams? Thanks!

My son is a five year old kindergartener. At home he shows all sorts of negative behaviour when it comes to doing homework(coloring and such). Now personally my son is not a fan of arts and crafts of any kind. So usually I just blow off the attitude and get him to do what needs to be done. When my husband and I try talk to him about school (what's he doing in class, what kind of special did he have today, was there music class) he goes and hides in a corner and refuses to talk. I am at the school most days and am familiar with his teacher. I know what's going on in the school. What I don't get is his refusal to talk about it. Today was the first time he showed this kind of behaviour in class in front of his teacher by taking an hour to write and copy the letter O six times. My husband is concerned that our son is dispalying some asperger tendicies (which our older son has). I think our younger son is playing up the more negative trates the older child displays. Should we be concerned?

My little girl is just a nightmare when the drama kicks in, she will not admit anything is her fault, and even little things is a big deal. It's like she's two again! How do I get this to stop? She also is very bossy and won't let the other kids join in on the "planning" of playing. HELP!

Ok, I may already know the answer to this, but thought I'd throw it out there anyway. Just this week, my supply has dipped pretty low. I exclusively nurse ds whenever he is with me, but need to pump while I'm at work. At daycare he drinks 2-8 oz bottles of bm and 1-8 oz bottle of formula. Thankfully I had a little extra from last week, because I have not been able to come close to 16 oz in a day. Anyway, I've also noticed that I must be ovulating...no period, but to avoid being too graphic, I've had other signs. So could that contribute to my decreasing supply?? I really hope so, and hope that it will jump back up after ovulation.

TIA!!!

I went for my 20 week detailed ultrasound yesterday (I'm actually 22 weeks along). Everything is fine... weight, length, all measurements, etc. The only thing is the doc said there is a small indicator of down syndrome. He said it would more than likely go away and he doesn't feel the need to do a follow up visit since I'm young (21 yrs. old). I believe he said fluid in the heart was the indicator. I also did the quad tests (blood tests) and everything came back fine. Well of course I'm worried. I just want to know if anyone else had any down syndrome indicators when they were pregnant?

I know this sounds selfish but my almost 2yr old son is driving me crazy. He will not play by himself when I am around. He would rather cry and whine at me instead. Dont get me wrong, I love playing with my son but I need to wash my face in the morning and get dressed. I would also like to put some mascara on....He will watch a cartoon but I dont want that to be my only option. Any suggestions on keeping a 2yr old boy occupied? He has tons of toys but he wont play with them unless we play together...

My 3 year old has been battling what I think is a cold since xmas. I took him to see a doctor about 3 days ago and they gave him a antibiotic called erythromycin, which he has never had before, and yesterday he woke up with a fever of 99.8 and carried it all day and then he devoloped this rash all over his body that looks like sunburn and now today he had a fever of 101.2. Do you think this is a reaction to the meds?
