that is a hot name. Go for it! It is cool, unusal (he will be the only one in his class unlike all the jacobs, mikes, etc.), but not weird and ugly (like one kid I knew was named Ecko. ). BTW, i love your name too!

Phoenix is a fine name for a boy. I know lots of people who name their children after places and so far I haven't seen anyone have any problems from that. What middle name are you thinking of to go with Phoenix? That's another important consideration. Make sure that all the names sound good together and the names, nicknames and initials won't leave your child open for embarrassment.

Phoenix is good name, it's a rare name and barely anyone has it. A co-worker of mine, his son's name is that and I told him that was nice name to choose.

I love it!! Our sons name is Xander Stone pronounced (Zander) and I love strong different names. Pheonix and Talon were other options for us. Good luck!!
