I was 6 weeks pregnant when I lost mine, and I passed everything with no problem. I'm pregnant now at 12 weeks.
Good luck!

the d&c is very invasive... pretty much the same procedure as an abortion. I chose to let everything pass naturally, that was March 2006 and in Nov. 2006 I found out I'm pregnant again! See what the ultrasound shows and go from there... hope everything works out for you

I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago, I was induced to pass everthing, but I had a d'n'c done the same, to be sure that no residue was left. If any particle still remains, you may get an infection !!!
If you have a d'n'c, it will be very easy to get pregnant again !! As I was told by everyone at hospital !!!

D&C's make it convenient and easy for doctors, they don't have to do a follow up to make sure you've passed all the tissues. I've never had one after a miscarriage (three) and I've healed fine. It takes a week or so longer, but doesn't affect fertility.
Seven weeks is fairly early, I wouldn't worry about it. i'm sorry for your loss, it's painful every time. Blessings,

i let it happen on its own. i was 10weeks 5 days but the baby had stopped at 6weeks.
it took 4 weeks for me to get negative hpt test and clear scan. i bled alot for the 1st few days but after that is was like a bad period.
i fell pregnant 3 months later 1st attempt and had a healthy baby at the end.
good luck in the future x x x x

I did not know that they gave you the option to wait. Having a d&c has nothing to do with getting pregnant but if I were you I would reconsider.
