is it safe to feel & press around your abdomen daily to feel the small bump around 3 months prego?? is it unsafe in anyway to your baby???

I think it's fine to name your child something uncommon, but don't go overboard with the cutesy spellings. There are a lot of good names out there that are uncommon yet your child won't have to sepll their name out for 1234567 people when they grow up.

hi, it seems lately whenever i hear someone is having a baby or is pregnant, i become very sad or even start to cry. But, the thing is I am only a high school student who is not even focused on having children or thinking about doing so in the future. i find it kind of weird because a lot of people my age dream about how many kids they'll have and what they'll name them and etc, and i could really care less. do you think I should talk to a counselor or someone in that nature about my feelings? Thanks a lot!!

on sevaeral occassions our new tenant who hasnt even been living in our house 4 2 whole months has left her underage kids home all alone. police have come to verify this n she states she never leaves when neighbors have seen her leave n have jotted down license plate numbers of which she lives n . also late at night too much noise neighbors complain.. drugs r involved n also have caught on several occassions opening up our mail n police dont want too make report about it . who can i contact child services n does anyone have a number in the bronx area to call aside from 311 in which i acn call

What do you think of the name Anna Victoria?

We are definitely going to use either Anna or Eva, but open to suggestions on middle names. Middle names we've considered:

I found out I was eight weeks pregnant last week. My husband kicked me in the stomach but swears it was an accident. (We were playing around but he's never kicked that hard). I don't know if it really was. Luckily he hit more of my chest than my stomach and I already went to the hospital and everything is fine. How do I trust him or do I just leave?

OK -- maybe this has nothing to do with being pregnant, but I woke up in the middle of the night coughing and chocking. It felt like fluid was filling my chest and I couldn't stop. I had to sit up and drink water.

I am probably just coming down with a cold, but something like this has never happened to me before. Could it have something to do with my sleep position? I was sleeping on my right side.

I`m almost 16. My mum and dad don`t let me anywhere without them eventhough i get good grade and don`t get into trouble. I tried to talk to them about it but they just won`t listen. All i want is just a fraction of independence that other people my age get. What can i do?

He's one month old and i still have blisters and soreness. I try very hard to get good latch, but when he nurses, he flattens the nipple like it is clamped in a vice. and then the tip gets WHITE and blisters. I want to cry and scream, I've been taking ibuprofen almost daily since a week after he was born. I drink a small (4 oz) bit of wine sometimes, to help with the pain. I have been to the only lactation consultant in my area, she helped me get started breastfeeding but made some BAD decisions for me that make me not trust her to help me now. I have also tried La Leche League but the leader advised me to see a lactation consultant... or get medella shields, something I'm not wanting to do because fo the risk for milk decrease/baby not getting enought etc. also because he is a poor gainer.
Also when he nurses, he usually goes suck suck suck swallow at the beginning, only for like five minutes tops, then goes suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck suck.... slwallow.

Im 28 weeks pregnant, (7 months) and I can feel my cervix moving sometimes, it kind of pushes into my bladder and relaxes. It happens everyday, sometimes it lasts on and off for like 10-15 minutes. Is this braxton hicks? Or just the baby moving I have asked 2 different doctors niether ever really anserwed my question.

I know majority people are telling me don't think about pregnancy or it won't happen. How do you forget about it? Everyone around me seems pregnant or just had their baby!!! Ok I just asked a question about this and all the signs point that way. Even if she isnt she needs to share with her family that her period shows no sign of starting and the way that happened (ie her relationship with a boy). They know about the relationship they just don't know yet that they have been going "all the way" lol lol. His parents probably will want to know too because they might become grandparents way before they expected to lol lol. She wants me to be with her to help her with the anger that she expects from them. I don't mind doing that. My dad has an expression he loves to use for just an occasion like this and it goes something like this "The SH*T will hit the fan". I dont't mind being with her when she tells them but should I try to get them to be more understanding or just be with her and let her do all the talking? I hate to tell you her age and my age so I won't. Needless to say this isn't a normal predicatment for young teens to be in.

I have sole custody because we were never married. I allow her to visit him and his family out of state for Christmas. I stopped going because her family is so rude to me. Now, this Christmas I let her (she's 6) go fly with another adult to see them. She was only there for 2 days and when she came back they had filled her head with all kinds of crap that she does not need to respect me. Would I be wrong to not allow her to visit them without me? I don't want to be around them at all, I can barely stand talking to them on the phone ( they are the phoniest people) They seem to be buying my daughter with extravagant gifts and even though I give her a lot they always find a way to out do me. For instance I told her grandmom that I was buying a new computer and I was going to give my daughter my old one -it works good enough for a six yr. old.

I'm 19 and never want children. I hate children, and I know I could never be a good mother. There are to many issues in my familiy. I want to have a permanent operation so that I never could even have the chance of getting pregnant, because if I did I would get an abortion or give it up for adoption and I never want to face those decisions. My mother told me that a while ago, women were not allowed to have that kind of operation before she had a least one child. This seems unfair since men can.
What are the laws in the US about that sort of thing? Is it my right to demand it? How would society view a woman who hates/dosen't want children?
