Mylacon gas drops or Gripe Water. I would also suggest examining the baby's diet... it's likely that something she's eating is causing the tummy trouble. Physicians suggest introducing one new food at a time (allow for a couple of days to try eating the new food) so you can easily observe any problems. This allows you to know for sure if your baby can tolerate that particular food. Tummy massages work well, too. Get some baby oil on your hands and rub with gentle pressure. Begin at the top right area of the tummy, move toward the top left and then straight down. Babies usually LOVE massages!
Good luck!

There are several good suggestions here for products to help relieve your baby's bloating. To keep it from recurring, try to discover if there is an offending food. Usually what gives an adult gas (onions, sweet pot., broccoli, etc.) will also give a child gas, although at this stage your little one shouldn't be given any thing but pureed baby foods (he doesn't have any back teeth to chew any solids at all.) If this is not the case, then be sure and keep baby's feedings spaced at scheduled times. The reason being, remember in our health class in school, that the digestive system needs time to complete its work before adding more food on top, which allows more air into the tummy. At the same time, when more food is introduced while the stomach is digesting previous food, the new food comes down and is pushed thru the colon that has not been properly prepared with the stomach acids. This can produce bad painful gas. At the same time, a normal amount of gas, which is not painful is necessary to move the bowels. Hope this helps. Cranky babies aren't so much fun! ;) God Bless.

My two favorite ones are the Little Tummy Gas Drops or the Gripe water which is available at Krogers in the baby section. I even use the Little Tummys on myself and my 6 year old if needed. Great product. You can also do the bicycle movements with the legs while he/she is laying down to help the gas to escape. Warm baths are also great.

If using the little tummys its a safe product that if the gas is still trapped or bloated then you can give it again in about an hour. Just dont go over the recommended doses in a 24 hour period..I would start off with .8 on this and it should take care of it pretty fast along with the warm bath water.

Hope your little feels better soon!!!

Woodwards gripe water from chemists is the best. Try giving baby a warm bath and/or massage tummy in clockwise direction gently can help.

Mine had massage and some adjustments to her diet. She is 3.5 now and getting better. She gets a normal diet apart from pasta. I buy corn pasta, spelt pasta, rice pasta and rice and veg pasta. If i give her wheat pasta (have done once, never again) she will bloat. Trapped wind comes out either end with her and always has done so.

Simethacone drops!!!!! It is the ONLY thing that worked on both of my kids when they were babies. Treat yourself to peace and quiet, and a good night's sleep. SI-METH-A-CONE! Available without a prescription at most grocery stores and pharmascies. The stuff is a little "spendy" but well worth your kid being out of pain, and you getting some rest!
