i am a new mother..she is only 2 days old now...i feel i am going to spoil her because her father and i cant seem to put her down shes so beautiful i just cant believe i was able to produce anything so beautiful but my question is being that i feel this way how can i NOT SPOIL her???

I don't usually deal with babies too well but I am going to a New Year's party out of state. I can't bring the baby with me because he will get stolen or eaten by something. I was thinking about getting a bunch of giant animals to guard and nurture him until I get back. Would it be possible to loop a leash from my rottweiler to the baby to make sure he doesn't get lost? I will leave more than enough baby food and dog food out for them both and I think it will be a good for my dog to learn responsibility. Any thoughts?

We can't have kids on our own and a friend of ours offered to the use of her body for the conventional way and I was wondering if is imoral for it that way despite all parties are in agreement and are willing to go through an lawyer for all the legal technicalities

I know the first names are pretty common but I wanted that on purpose - I have a uncommon name and through school hated it because nobody could pronounce it. Anyways, what do you think?

I am breastfeeding my one month old baby. i have been vegan since before i was pregnant however since he was born his weight gain has been slow. I did some research and found out about b12 deficiency causing slow weight gain. I am wondering if any VEGAN moms have had this problem, and if taking a daily b12 supplement corrected the problem, if so, how long did it take??

I am not going to change my eating habits unless his pediatrician recommends it. Please don't waste your time telling me to eat animal products. Thanks for your consideration.

Ok, so I am dating this guy named Nick, and have been dating him for about... 3 or 4 weeks. I liked him, and I didn't even kno him. I think i liked him becuz i thought he was hot. So i asked him out and he said yes. I gave him a Christmas present, and he is going to give me mine on Tuesday. The reasons why I am gonna break up with him are: 1. I sent him a text asking "Would u ever kiss me?" becuz i couldn't stop think about it and him, and he just said "maby". 2. I sent him a text one night saying "Nick... I love you." becuz we do that all the time, and I kno it might be to early for "love" but its kinda hard to stop saying it after u start. well he replied back saying "i kno." 3. He never sends me texts or calls or gets on IM. 4. We only see eachother one time each day. 5. He never says "Hi" to me in the hallway.

Should i break up with him? And if so then how?

Ok.

Thank you everyone for the helpful answers about PCOS and pregnancy.
I went and got 3 HPTS and here's what happened:
Test 1 was done around 12pm and an extremely faint line showed up.. you could barely see it, but it was there.
Test 2 was taken around 6:45am and once again a very faint line showed up, but then after a minute.. it disappeared!
Test 3 was done around 9:30 and it showed up negative..
My husband and I were not ttc, and our boys are adopted.. so not anxious or stressed.
I am going to see my specialist on the 2nd of Jan and will be having a blood test.
I am nauseous(the smell of bacon this morning nearly sent me over the edge..lol) and my sense of smell is really strong My breasts don't ache but they feel denser. I have this nagging discomfort in the lower part of my abdomen, have an overwhelming desire to eat pears, tons of gas indigestion constipation. I also am sure that I am pregnant. Did anyone else have this problem with HPTs but knew they were?

hello i recently lost my baby born at 20 weeks due 2 infection due 2 a 19week amnio. this was on the 14th august 2006. i am now 14.5days pregnant. me and my partner are over the moon. although i had a scan at 5.1weeks and the said there was only a sac and highly suggests a non viable pregnancy however i am still pregnant my tummy is grownin. have decided that we will have no further follow up scans as the only look 4 faulse negatives. but saw midwife at 12 weeks and couldnt pick up heartbeat is this normal. i heard my first daughters heartbeat at 16weeks but hadent tryed b4 this and alysia who i just lost i heard her heart beat at 10weeks. please help.?? anybody had the same situation as me?

These days, I hear more and more about teens who are having before they are married and getting pregnant. I think this is sad and disapointing. Me, being a happy teen who doesn't do that and enoys being young and free, can't understand why a young teenager, who has her whole lfe ahead of her, would go out, get pregnant, and screw her life up. A has her whole life to have a baby. It's just one example of how the choices you make affect your life - good or bad. And I mean, and pregnancy is supposed to be a special thing meant for two responsible s who can support a child financially and emotionally. Any insight?

I have two questions: 1) I like half boiled egg (when the yolk is raw), is it safe eating it in pregnancy?
2) I work in Pakistan and in my room I have a toilet which is not a seated toilet (its very common in this country), its like a hole in the ground and one has to sit on it with all the pressure on the two feets not on the bum, is it OK in pregnancy? I am too concerned about it.

I don't understand why she does this. She says it is just "play clothes". It really bothers me because they are 3 and 4 years old and my 4 year old is starting to know the difference in boys and girls and seems to think it is ok to dress like a boy because her granny dresses her that way. I am not talking about just a boy t-shirt or something like that, I am talking full boy outfits such as jogging suits with football, spiderman, etc.. just boy stuff. My girls are not even the least bit tom-boyish, it's like she is trying to make them that way. She keeps the clothes at her house and dresses them in them when I am not there. Is this strange??????? or am I overreacting? I have never heard of a grandparent doing this. Please answer and help me figure out a way to handle this! I am not out to hurt someones feelings.

This is my second pregnancy and so far I have made it to week #12. In my first pregnancy the baby never developed and was lost around week 6. I have already been to the doctor and had 4 ultrasounds done, each of which being promising showing a growing fetus and a heartbeat but I still can't help but wonder if something is going to go wrong. I don't know if it's because I am not showing and I can't feel kicks because it's too soon or if something maybe occurring. Does anyone else have feelings like this?

I'm almost 36 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and in my late 20's but today when I went to my Dr. office I swear I was the youngest expecting mom there?
My husband and I had our first child at 21, we still both finished college, have good jobs, own our home and have the money to care for our children.
Do you think it better to wait to have kids or have them sooner? I guess it's different for everyone and out situation is not the norm, but do you really want to be 45 and running after a 3 or 4 yr old?
