I have two questions: 1) I like half boiled egg (when the yolk is raw), is it safe eating it in pregnancy?
2) I work in Pakistan and in my room I have a toilet which is not a seated toilet (its very common in this country), its like a hole in the ground and one has to sit on it with all the pressure on the two feets not on the bum, is it OK in pregnancy? I am too concerned about it.

raw egg yolks are very bad durnig pregnancy. they should be well-cooked (hard boiled). raw eggs can cause food poisoning which can be fatal to the baby.

as for the toilet, you're on your own there.

Raw egg yolks are not safe during pregnancy so don't eat them. And going to the bathroom that way should be okay, but if you can have someone there to give you support by like holding your arms because the real concern is your circulation and the fact that later in pregnancy from our growing size we become clumsy and can fall easier. But if you have assistance some of the pressure on your feet is relieved and your blood will continue flowing.

The egg thing is really bad.

But the toilet thing we can fix. You can get a camping toilet from EBay or Camping World.com for around 40.00 American dollars. This allows you to sit and use the restroom. You flush it by puling a lever and the continence goes into a tub at the bottom that has to be dumped ever so often. I would say you can probably dump it into your current toilet hole.

If you really want one and have trouble finding one on line I can get one for you and mail it over, shipping may be the biggest cost.

Good Luck and Congratulations

Raw eggs are a bad idea. So many reasons that raw eggs aren't good. As for the toilet thing, as long as you don't fall over or strain your stomach, I don't see a problem.

I wouldn't suggest eating a partially cooked egg to any one it can give you salmonella poisoning. This can lead to vomitting and diahrea, and severe sickness can hurt the baby. As far as the bathroom thing I think you are perfectly fine, women in your country have been doing this for years without problems don't worry. :)

1) Half boiled eggs are not the safest for anyone, there's always a chance of samonila poisoning, being the egg is not fully cooked!

2) Squating to pee should not be a problem as long as you are not straining your belly.

The egg thing is gross and very bad for the baby...it contains diseases that can kill the baby so stop it!

I do not think the toilet position is going to hurt you but definitely wash your hands afterwards! Please ask these questions to your doctor!!!

In regards to your first question, NO. There is a chance of getting salmonella and you don't wan tot get sick while your pregnant since you really can't take anything. Don't take a chance on harming the baby.
