Imoral for a baby?

We can't have kids on our own and a friend of ours offered to the use of her body for the conventional way and I was wondering if is imoral for it that way despite all parties are in agreement and are willing to go through an lawyer for all the legal technicalities

Don't "do her". We need to have a little bit more respect for sex and women here alright fellas? First of all, i think it's a wonderful idea. Me and my husband can't have kids either and i wish that we had a friend that would be willing to do that. But there are a few drawbacks. First of all, there is a huge immediate bond between a woman and what she just gave birth to. Your friend is going to feel it. It's a difference between saying your going to do it, and actually following though with it. And even if your wife says it's ok to have sex with this woman to make a baby, she is still going to feel bad. She will always wonder if you had any attraction to that women at all. And she will always keep in mind that that baby is not hers and it belongs to someone that is close and she is going to worry if you will ever develop a romantic relationship with this friend since you guys just had the baby together and your wife is going to feel left out. It may sound good now. But before you go through with anything. Think about the consequences first. Things are fine and dandy now, but wait until your friend carries a human being in her for 9 months, getting attatched to it while she's pregnant(we automatically make bonds with the baby before their born) and then having to give it up after all of that pain and hard work. She is going to automatically feel she wants to have a say because she delivered it. Think about it first please mister.

mm..you may not like this story because it is a bit religious, but I'm telling you anyway: In the Bible God came down to Abraham and told him he would have a child with Sarah his wife, but Sarah laughed and mock them, God told her she would have a child. After God told her this, she still didn't believe him, so she told Abraham to have sex with her handmaid so that she may produce an heir for them. Well the handmaid got pregnant, and she teased the wife, that she was able to conceive and she wasn't....the moral of the story is if you're meant to have a child no matter what you're going to have a child, if you don't have a child now, then maybe right now, despite what you might think, you're not ready to have one. A child is more than just a pregnancy, having a child is a big responsiblity. Maybe more than God thinks you can handle. Like with anything else have patience, I don't think it's meant for your friend to use her body for your child....I don't think she's fully aware of the effects of baring a child will have on her body. The only people who can answer that is you and your partner. If you are all in agreement and go through the legal process of making it right, then really, its not much different the a surrogate or something like that. Why not harvest one of your wife's eggs and have it fertilized and implanted? No matter how you look at it, having sex with someone other than your wife is immoral, no matter what the reason is. The odds of her getting pregnant the first go round is very slight - you will have to be intimate with her muliple times and that WILL cause problems, because there's always a chance you will begin to have feelings for her and I certainly wouldn't want to bring an innocent child into a potential mess like that. A friend of yours is offering to have sex with your husband? or is she willing to have your egg and sperm put into her? If it's the first way around, I'd question the motive. Something just doesnt sound right! There could be alot at stake.

I don't think I would be comfortable with that if I was your wife. I would recommend you go the unconventional route myself. Because women tend to get attached to men via sex. Not always, but many do. We're made differently. Women associate sex and love much more than men do. I can't imagine that your wife would be okay with this. If she is than she must want a baby much more than you.

Ok dude, I feel bad for you cause everyone assumes you mean have sex with the other woman. I assume you mean by implanting your WIFES egg and your sperm into this woman to give birth to right? If thats the case, and everyones ok with it, I would say go for it.
I would do it for my friend or brother or someone close to me.
Make sure the other woman will be able to mentally and emotionally give her child to you guys, though.

Do it legally, make her the sragent mother. Your sperm and your wifes egg in the other woman. If you just do this other lady then it isn't your wifes kid and it's like you cheated if you ask me.

very iffy situation here...tread lightly. first off you and her need to talk privately. make sure to assure her that if she isnt ok with it you wont go through with it. but when you look in her eyes and ask her this and she says she is fine with it....she wants this child....look real close.....you can see if this is hurting her or not.
