Hi, I have a 3 month old son who is refusing his pacifier. Some tell me it is necessary for babies to get used to pacifier and some say it is not. I would like to know whether anyone knows how and when to introduce pacifier to a baby? Thanks.

can any one help me i have a situasion with my girlfriend where by she want's to know if other girls feel comfortable with having sex and the chance of getting pregnant how do other girls feel about this and does it get easier .

my daughter is almost 2 months old. eversince she was born, she's already always sucking on a pacifier. she would suck it for hours when she's not hungry. she would suck it until she falls asleep...i make sure that i take it out coz of the risk of SIDS but i just wanna know if its bad and might hurt her in the future...it comforts her...also being held and being rocked in the bassinet.

I'm 37 wks pregnant and worried as hell about a lot of things.
1. I'm getting a lot of discharge in my panty liners almost yellow in color. I've talked to my midwife and she said that I shouldn't be worried yet i read on another page that it could mean trouble for the baby... Am I just being a worry wart?

2.I've been in pain at night with a really tight feeling around my bottom half of my belly (wear he is sitting)

3. How will i know its a contraction or not? (i know that sounds dumb but it's my first pregnancy and I'm obviously nervous/anxious etc)

Also my partner thinks I'm doing to much house work but i tell him I'm just nesting... what do you think?

I thank you all in advance for answering this even though it may sound stupid, I just need to set my mind at ease.

I seem to remember that some doctors think the whole idea of teething pain is imagined and they don't get it all. Is this the case or do all babies get teething pain?

I made a HUGE mistake... I wanted my son to have a video game to play. He's 1 year old and can already figure out how to work a Playstation, but the games are too complex, and the controller is too easy for him to damage.

I bought him a "Little Leaps" system. MISTAKE! The games don't do anything... it's just a boring video that plays and after my son loses interest it tells him to "press a button." It's pretty much just a childrens video that occasionally pauses and asks him to "Press a Button" to continue.

My boy already gets more than enough education time, outdoor play time, and his mother is a stay at home mom and daycare provider. Is there anything out there that is a video game he can just move around in and isn't something he can break?

Anyone have any DvD games that will work with "Little Leaps?"

It's Ironic that the same people who are obsessed with children being constantly educated seem to also think children are stupid.

My 10 month old for some time now does nothing but hang onto his crib rails and bounce, to the point of loosening the screws out of his rails. What should I do? I am afraid that if I put him in a toddler bed then he would fall out due to he moves quite a bit in his crib when he sleeps. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

I have been getting contractions since Saturday night all the way up to now. But they are like 5, 7, 8, 10, 12, 5, minutes apart. No mucous plug, no water leakage, aching back but not painful. 39 weeks and 6 days. I don't want to go to the hospital, what should I do?

Will I know right away once he's born? I know that babies are usually born with blue/grey eyes... When do they settle into their real color?
