I would, as if you have had a cat and tend to eat rare meat you probably are already immune to toxoplasmosis
La Leche League says: "If you DO get toxoplasmosis, there is no evidence that it can be transmitted by BF, and mom will provide baby with antibodies - so breastfeeding can and should be continued."
Not terribly reassuring, but that is the best I can come up with.

With my last pregnancy I found that it is not safe to even have the cat around a new baby, much less clean the litter box. Cat urine is very full of ammonia. I can't remember exactly what my doc. said except there is something about cat dander that is bad for baby. I am a cat lover and this hurt my fellers very badly to find out my sweet kitty couldn't be around my baby for a long while.

Yes, the issue with cat boxes only affects your body while you are pregnant. You can transmit diseases after you clean it, so wash your hands well.

If yours is an indoor cat that would not devour raw meat the probability is low. basically be confident to bathe your hands and hands thoroughly and modify shirts. you do not choose toddler inhaling any dirt that would make certain your clothing.

wear gloves...wash hands...be careful if the cats are tigers...they get hungry and are known to eat people and gay magicians.
