if you think he is ready to drink out of a sippy cup then why not, as long as he is getting his milk it does not matter what it comes out of.

A sippy cup is OK at 10 months as an introduction to leaving the bottle.

My best experience has been using the sippy cups with the valves (I believe Playtex makes them) where child can sip small amounts and not receive a continuous flow, to prevent choking hazards.

Though be prepared for any regression back to the bottle(or breast), it can happen.

Sure! If he will use the sippy cup, I'd go for it. REmember he may have more gas than normal. Good for him for using the sippy so early! Our fav kind are from Wal-mart, I think they are by Nuk. They are cheap and work so much better than the expensive ones I bought.

if he can drink from a sippy cup then you should be fine, but if he has never drank from a sippy cup before then i don't recommend it, the fluid comes out a lot faster in a cup than in a bottle.

YES.. that sounds like a good idea. It should help now to get rid of the bottle if you start while they are a bit younger than a year.

I don't see why not, he's old enough for real milk, and its cheaper, you should consider switching him.
