I am 40 weeks pregnant and have been in labor for 10 days now, my body is completly exhasted and sore from all the spuratic contractions. I can't seem to get them to be as close together and as strong as the hospital wants them to be. What can I do to make my contractions stronger and closer together?

The last time we talked he was suppose to see him for Easter, but he never did. He missed his birthday and all holidays since including Father's Day and Christmas.He has been in and out of my sons life.He didnt even enter his life until he was over a yr. old.
He has been in and out of prison.
He is suppose to pay child support, but doesn't.
I took him to court, but got no where.They gave him visitation, but he never uses it.
My husband has been in my son's life since he was about 6 months old.
what can I do?please help.

hi i'm 16 weeks pregnant today and i have been getting these twinges in my Virgina, they kind of feel like butterflies! they come and go know and again, and do not hurt.

have many of you managed this? I know most babies won't wait til 6months to be weaned, and goverment guidelines suggest by 6 mnths babies should be taking lumpy foods rather than puree, which is, of course, what I shall be starting him on. It's all very contradictory.

I have been on both birth control pills and the depo shot for the past 4 years. When I talk to certain people, they say that it can take at least a couple of years to get a "normal" menstrual and ovulation cycle. However, I am getting my period every month like I am supposed to, is it still unlikely for me to get pregnant since I've been on BC for so long. Has anyone else experienced difficulties with having a child after being on BC??

That a woman can be fertile 5 to 7 days before she ovulates, and if so when ovulation occurs can she become pregnant on the first day of ovulation. i want answers from those who know what they are talking about not those who "think" they know.

Period has resumed, but I had a chemical pregnancy after waiting for oen period between miscarriage/d&c and ttc again. I know after both pregnancies hcg has reurned to less than 5 and that I had a period after d&c and got a late period as a result of the chemical. I guess I wonder (and am paranoid) that there could be somehting left in there that caused the new embryo not to implant properly. I am probably just imagining things and if I have had two period since d&c then the uterus must be cleaned out...right?

I have really slight cramps hardly non excistent, but i have these brownish spotting they come and then go, yesterday i had some fresh blood in my spotting is this a sign of miscarriage?? It was just specks of blood not a lot, and it had the brownish in between...

I had my first child about 5 weeks ago and have been bleeding ever since. I feel very lightheaded dizzy and week. When I had him I had to have a c-sction because he was to big for my pelvis so i was in labor for 19 hours until they decided to give me a c section. But I have a really heavy blood flow I have to change it at least once an hour. I have really bad pain cramps, Blood clots. Lots of pain.

My son will be 5 in about 2 weeks. He pees in the toilet with no problem. When it comes time to have a bowel movement he cries and cries and says he can't do it. If it were not for this problem he would be potty trained. He wears his underwear everyday and when he goes out. Then at night I end up putting a pull up on him to go. Any suggestions???

i took a few pregnancy tests with all the same results. i see something very light (almost have to turn it into the light to see it at a certain angle) then i check them later, like maybe 2 hours and they have a more defined line...i thought it might be an evaporation line, but it is pink...what does this mean?

My four year old son is very upset over my husband's deployment. They are very close, since the day our son was born. My husband has only been gone a little over a month and my son cries every day that he misses daddy and he wants daddy. It breaks my heart to see him so upset. I have explained the situation to him as well as I can for a child of his age, and have even tried looking at pictures in a photo album of the kids with my husband, but that only seem to make it worse. My husband will not be home until around Thanksgiving 2007. How can I help my son cope with his daddy being gone?
