how far along are you?? That's makes a HUGE difference. Either way you should call your doctor ASAP. If you're very early on, it could be a miscarriage. I had light spotting (brownish) in my second trimester caused by a low lying placenta which isn't uncommon, but if I hadn't gone in to the doctor I would have never found out that I have an incompetent cervix and I would have miscarried within the week. It could be nothing but it also be much more than you imagined. Good luck.

I'm not going to pretend that this is totally normal or a time to totally panic. You aren't out of the first trimester, and this a time when a large percentage of pregnacies can be lost inexplicably. I had tiny spotting in the second trimester which turned out to be a couple of tiny broken vessels caused by a yeast infection. I'd call your doctor/nurse practioner/midwife/or what have you and they can check everything out to see if you are still pregnant.
Remember, at seven weeks, the fetus is less than half an inch long, and it's still possible to have implantation bleeding as late as eight weeks. I hope for the best for you, good luck, and be well.

The good question is... Are you pregnant?? That would help people to help you.. If you are and in early weeks of pregnancy, it is common to have some spotting because your uterus is cleaning out for the pregnancy. You can have some cramping too if it's your 1st pregnancy. It's something new to your body.
Good Luck and Congrat's if you are pregnant.

Probably not so don;t freak out but you do need to go see a doctor. It's probably implantation bleeding common in the first few months from the placents growing and attaching

well sweeite just to let you know thats how it started out for me, very light and as the miscarriage got closer i started bleeding more. you need to go ot the hospital so they can do an ultrasound because light bleeding CAN sometimes be normal in early pregnancy. good luck and god bless

If you are early into the pregnancy.. it could be a problem. But if longer into the pregnancy is not common but does happen. But to stress less and put you at ease make an appt to see your gyn.

i would go to the er ASAP to get confirmation. I had the same thingwith the last 2 babies .......not red enough to be bleeding but it was there. I went to the ER and i was fine both times. There was not clear explanation.

spotting and painful period like cramping are all normal parts of early pregnancy.
Impossibly painful cramping (worse than a period) with bleeding (especially with clots) is a sign of something serious.
You should however call your OB and let them know, that way they can have it on record and can better advise you for your particular situation.

depends on how preggers you are, could be a miscarriage, could be implantation bleeding, or if your really far along could be the onset of labor.
