That a woman can be fertile 5 to 7 days before she ovulates, and if so when ovulation occurs can she become pregnant on the first day of ovulation. i want answers from those who know what they are talking about not those who "think" they know.

The woman is not fertile 5-7 days prior to ovulation. However, sperm can live inside her for up to five days just waiting until she becomes fertile. When this occurs, sperm is already in the fallopian tubes just waiting for an egg, so, yes, a woman can become pregnant right at the beginning of ovulation.

Many more babies are conceived from sex had 1-5 days prior to ovulation than sex on ovulation day (or the day after). The egg only lives for 24 hours unless it's fertilized.

No.... You have about 24-48 of fertility... however, semen can remain alive in that environment for 72 hours+. yes... you can pregnant right away at the beginning of ovulation. Hope this helps! :)

hi- if you count your cycle days
(day one being 1st day of period) days 14-18 of your cycle are when you are most fertile.
I am 36 weeks along now & It happened for me on either my 14th day or the 18th day.
