And it's the end of December, there is a lot of snow outside. Can you think of any inside activities?

You could play hide-and-seek, use blankets to make a 'tent' and have a snack underneath, bake cookies, take a walk, play board games or cards, put together an obstacle course then go over it carrying various things in a spoon or on your head, blow up a balloon and play volleyball then use it to time yourselves doing various things with it [for instance, you both are allowed to use just one finger to hold it between you and go on a certain route] and try to improve your time. Most kids love ANYTHING you do with them because you are actually spending time with them.

If you have outdoor facilities little boys love to run around and play with bats and balls. Also if you live near a beach take himjt o the beach but fdon;t forget to Slip on a T shirt, Slop on sunscreen and slap on a hat :) Alternatively if it is raining ask his family to pack in his own toys and some movies. Also use a reward stystem, such as if you be a good boy and listen we will watch a movie or whatever comes to mind. This always works for me when I teach children of that age group :) GOOD LUCK LADIES , you have a busy day ahead for you!

Watch a good movie, and make pizza.

Make Pizza using thomas english muffins.

Put tomatoe sauce and cheese on the english muffin and bake in oven until the cheese melt. You can make your own toppings like peperoni's, hot dog, ham burger, just be creative with the topping. The movie is about 2hrs and it will take 30 min to make the pizza.

Let him play out side if it is in the snow so be it.have a basketball for him even if you do not have a hoop he will love to bounce it around. Even if you need to buy a basketball. Then go buy one you will have it for whenever a boy or girl comes over.

If you, at some stage, let him see you in not much more than a towel, at least you'll have a dumbstruck/lovestruck 9-year-old to handle. And possibly a lawsuit.

He's probably had lots of electronic babysitters (cartoons, videogames).....why don't you take him to a park and fly a kite!

Can you call his house and ask his parent what he likes to do or have him bring some things along that he likes? When my son goes somewhere without me I always send a backpace full of toys or books or whatever he chooses along that way he has his own things to do.

Depend on him. If it's possible, take him to the park and play catch or something.
