"A woman is ready for childbearing again after a miscarriage once the normal cycle returns. However, it is hard to predict when the next menstrual period will return after a miscarriage. Following uncomplicated miscarriage, most women who had regular cycles will have a period within four to six weeks following the completion of the miscarriage."

It depends on duration of pregnancy early stages under 6 weeks body returns fairly quick over 6 weeks take longer. You can become pregnant within two weeks of miscarrage so it is a fairly quick process however emotional a lot longer.
You should always try and wait at least three months if you want to try again.

i was told to wait for at least 3 cycles before trying for another baby. however if you were more than 4 months they recommend waiting 4 cycles, 5 months - 5 cycles etc. to help your body along take multivitamins to replace vitamins and minerals lost with the miscarriage. my doc told me to keep taking my pregnacare tablets until i try again next year.

It wan't my body it was my head!! Emotionally I was a wreck, I kept thinking it was something I had done despite being told otherwise. I wasn't ready for six months plus, but I suspect that was because I was terrified it was going to happen again. Take your time, you will know when it is right. God bless and a happy New Year.xx
