Don't fret so much. My mother use to say to me...when the baby is ready to come out he/she will!!! The pain, well it varies from person to person. My first it took me 12 hrs to have her and my water never broke. The doc had to do it. My second child was just about the same way. (The doc had to break my water again).
And don't worry about your weight. Its must be needed. It shows that the baby is getting the right nutrients for it to grow. But if your that worried call your obgyn and see what they say.
Congrats on the baby and have a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Look you are coming up on an event that you know involves pain and its really natural to be a little scared and worried -even Mom's who are on their third or fourth feel the same because every pregnancy and birth are different. You will be fine and I'm sure can do the natural birth routine if you wish, however, if you need the pain meds take them dont suffer needlessly. Good luck to you and congrats on your new little one.
