He's been my friend before I even met my ex. He was still myfriend when I got pregnant and always understands when I have to cancel something due to my daughter. He wears eyeliner,eyeshadow,girl jeans and brushes his hair over one eye. Plus he is white. My parents are strictly against me going with anyone against my race. He is my BEST friend. What should I do?

Had a miscarriage on Nov 11. Havent had any signs of my period coming on, a little cramping but when i use to cramp it would come on in the same day. It has been 40 days since my miscarriage and i based the baby and afterbirth naturally. I've always had normal periods before this. I miscarried at 5 weeks. Can someone please help me out! I think i may be pregnant again but im too scared to take a test. I had sex the first time unprotected on the 16th of Nov and some days after that also. Could i be pregnant and not even know it? What are my chances of being pregnant or should i wait a little lomger for period to come on? For those who have had miscarriages before how long after miscarriage did u have to wait for period?

I mean its cute the way she does it, but makes it hard to hold on to sometimes. Everyone jokes that shes riding a horse but its just strange to me I guess. My now 21 mo old son never did that. Anyone else have a baby that did it/does it? How'd you keep a hold of them? lol We bought her one of those BebePods to teach her to sit and she rocks so much we are afraid she will either tip, or hurt her back by smacking into it so much. Its like shes just so ready to take off! lol

The other thing is, shes not rolling over yet because she hates to be put on her tummy. I try to do the "tummy time" with her every day as suggested but she screams! I get down in front of her and play, and even bought a play mat designed for tummy play that raises her up a bit but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions on this?

I am 37 weeks and 3 days pregnant...with my second child...I was wondering (from all of your experiences with the length of your labor of a second child)... When is a good time to call people and give them the heads up? And, also I do not want my mother there until after the baby is born..so what should I tell her when I call her, so that she is not mad that I didn't call her before...but I called other people?

We are going to be going on long road trips with our young children this holiday season. We have a 3yo who often gets carsick after a long trip. Any suggestions? We have tried stopping more often, I think it almost makes it worse.

My Girls are 6 and 3 and so far as much as my husband (their father) have tried to instill repect and order,and they pretty much dismiss anything we say to them. We are consistant and we set limits, we do time outs and all that. I have even watched the different nanny shows for help. I have tried charts and chores and all that. Does anyone have advice that might help??? Please I need something before I jump off the deep end.

I just had a baby she is 3 months on. I have been on birth control for 2 mons now. I got my period last month before i started taking the white pills. I am now on my third day of taking the white pills and i still havent started my period. Is there any way i could be pregnant?? I am so confused thought you couldnt get pregnant on birth control!?!?!

I have a 22 mth old boy that is having a little bit of diarreah & I can't get him to eat. He has thrown up twice & I went out to the store & bought him some liquilytes (almost like pedialyte) but this stuff is put out by gerber & he won't drink it. What can I do to get something on his stomach & get him feeling better instead of him getting worse right here at Christmas. I'm offer him only light stuff such as crackers & toast but he won't eat & now he won't drink the liquilytes drink & I don't want him to get dehydrayted & him have to have his first sick visit to the E.R. Any adive will greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

My 4 year old daughter is horrible, worse then kids ive seen on super nanny. She yells at me, tells me NO, hits and throws the cats and dog, if she dont get her way she will sit there and throw a fit for however long. Ive tried time out, ive tried taking things away from her, it doesnt work. NOTHING ive tried has worked. I dedicate one hour every day for just MOMMY and ME time. During that time we do whatever she wants. coloring, games, puzzles..etc. Then after that hour we do house hold chores, i include her in everything i do. so i know it isnt an attention issue. i am concerned because she will start Kindergarten in fall of 07 and i dont want her acting like this in school. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!

My daughter is 6 years old and in the first grade. She has other students that both beleive in Santa and those that don't around her in the classroom. This is a very tender age and an imaginative one. Should I continue to encourage her to beleive in that which she does not see, or should I tell her the adult truth? Do I let her figure it out on her own? Help!!

A few months ago, I found an outlet cover (online) that was made out of clear acrylic plastic. It went over the entire outlet, but still allowed for something to be plugged in (there was a place for the cord to exit). I am not talking about the standard little plastic plugs that go into the outlet holes. This was something that would allow you to have things plugged in, out in the open, yet not have to worry about your baby or toddler unplugging them and getting electrocuted. I forgot to bookmark it and, despite several attempts, I cannot seem to locate the site where I found this. Does anyone know who sells these? If so, please provide the link. I would greatly appreciate it.

just finished my ivf cycle, on thursday i had to do preg test that the clinic gave me to do at home, it was a faint pos.couple hours later went to clinic were they did some blood test that took half hour and the result come neg. friday morning done 3 more hpt all come back with really faint (just visible) pos. my bf can see the faint pos line but thinks its to faint to be pos. dont know what to think or do. if im preg i need to stay on my meds the clinic gave me but if im not have to stop the meds. i had message on my phone last night from clinic saying i might not be able to continue with my next cycle(not sure y) please help need some advice. do i stay on meds and test again in few days when the pos line might be darker or would the faint line on test be to faint.

I was on the pill for five months and stopped the pill on Sept. 5, I then got a period Oct. 21, since then I have not gotten a period. Three weeks ago I took a test and it was negative now I've taken four and they were all positive even the digital ones, but the one at the doctors was false. Which one should I believe ? Could it mean that there is something wrong with the pregnancy?

i ma almost 41 weeks pregnant i have been having really bad contractions since last night but they are not regular...they go from 5-20 minutes and there all over the place....sometimes they become regular and then stop...if i go to the hospital tonight and tell the doctor i am in pain will they break my water for me and get things going?? how dialated do i have to be for them to keep me?or break my water?

I have been having them since 4 oclock and its eight now. How long can they keep coming without me knowing if I am in labor or not? I would think that they would have gotten more painful or at least more frequent or something. I am having them at least every half hour 45 min and they won't stop even when I walk or lie down or eat/ drink something. how long should I wait. I am not a high risk pregnancy or anything. Should i just hold out till I am absolutly sure that I am or should I call the doctor?
