I was on the pill for five months and stopped the pill on Sept. 5, I then got a period Oct. 21, since then I have not gotten a period. Three weeks ago I took a test and it was negative now I've taken four and they were all positive even the digital ones, but the one at the doctors was false. Which one should I believe ? Could it mean that there is something wrong with the pregnancy?

I don't know what to say about which one to go by, but if there is something wrong with the pregnancy it would still come up positive. Good luck.

Was the Drs test a urine or blood test and when was it done? Also if you are on any medications that could effect the pregnancy test results...there is a list of medications i believe in the instruction booklets in the hometests. I have hardly ever heard of getting false positives, especially on 4 different home tests. What you could do is go back to the Dr. again. If the test at the doctors office was urine, it might be the test was done so soon into the pregnancy the HCG levels werent high enough. I would assume in the time being, you are pregnant until you find out for sure. Better safe then sorry. Good luck to you. That is a tough one....but i would believe after 4 pregnancy tests, you would probably be pregnant.

Believe the 4 digital tests. I once took 2 home pregnancy tests that both came back positive and then had one test at the doctors which came back negative. I was pregnant. The test in stores I guess are more sensitive and detect a pregnancy earlier.

I'd ask the doctor for a retest. If you are pregnant, you would be almost nine weeks along..so you should be feeling something growing inside your uterus by now. Can you feel any changes down in your pelvis? Have you had any minor pains from ligaments stretching? Have you noticed a change in your boobs yet? Have you been sick? Are you more tired?

Don't get worried about this. Make sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins. If you haven't started taking them yet, go to the drugstore NOW and buy them. There are critical in the early stages of pregnancy. They can help prevent serious birth defects like spina bifida.
----
Anything is possible. Go to the doctor again when your pee is more concentrated, when you've held it for a while. There should be more of the pregnancy hormone in there then.
Good luck.
Congrats!

Which was first, the negative or the positive? Did you go in three weeks ago to your doctor and have a test done and got a negative and then NOW you've gotten positives?

Or was it the other way around...

It makes a difference, and I cant answer without that information.

I would take another at home test, although they are quite expensive. Then I would go to a local health departement or urgent care type center and ask for a pregnancy test. If the home test is positive and another Dr's test is negative I would insist on a blood test to check out what is going on with your hormones.

No, that doesnt mean that something is wrong with the pregancy but depending on what type of test they did if they did a blood test then that cant be wrong, well i havent heard of it being wrong but you should wait a few weeks and go back to the doctors.

Go back to the doctor and explain what is happening. Bring your pregnancy tests. Probability is that you are not pregnant, but treat yourself as if you are until you get the answers you need. (Example, abstain from alcohol, good diet, getting rest ect).
