He's been my friend before I even met my ex. He was still myfriend when I got pregnant and always understands when I have to cancel something due to my daughter. He wears eyeliner, eyeshadow, girl jeans and brushes his hair over one eye. Plus he is white. My parents are strictly against me going with anyone against my race. He is my BEST friend. What should I do?

OK...so assuming he's not gay, I've been there. I know some kids where makeup (guys) and they aren't gay and they think it's cool and gothic. I used to date those guys. As for gay guys...I've dated a guy who is now gay and everyone thought was gay (except me). Anywho...it seems that if he is NOT gay then he would've made a move by now. Some guys are really great and only want to be friends. I think if anything, you should just ask him...but then again, that can actually backfire.

About being a mother, you need to think about what's best for your child. I know this sounds harsh, but is he really the best role model for your child. You're probably going to be pissed about me making that comment, but you will get older and realize what I'm talking about one day...I've been there and done that and I know exactly what it feels like and think "never me."

Really consider what is best for your child. Is being in a relationship with anyone/him good RIGHT NOW? Is dating someone against your race good right now...meaning, are your parents supporting you? If they are, I suggest NOT getting on their bad sides. My parents help me out more than I can admit and there are things you have to deal with (even if they seem unfair or unethical) but you HAVE to...because it's best for you child at the time being. Way all your options.

They're more worried about someone else's race than their 13 y.o. daughter having a new infant and is already pregnant AGAIN?! Your parents need to get smacked by social services and re-evaluate their approach to raising you. I would just worry about taking care of your own baby daughter, getting your ex in jail (I read your other questions), and keeping your legs closed! Keep being friends with this guy though.

Edit: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqLvYSTbIh48iCk2UCcX0fLsy6IX?qid=20061118135444AAWiLRq Your parents prejudice hasn't stopped you before. And why in question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=As4ic2o0GTUWCMQc5hv2vSXsy6IX?qid=20061121190253AAGN3Jh you say your boyfriend is 16, then here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoEWv1wk9gk_4qZ532cv3B_sy6IX?qid=20061208141814AATxnJg , he's 14? Either way, stay away from this creep and keep you and your baby safe.

You shouldn't be proud of being a teenage mom, All your peers are going to be laughing at you and plus you get to have no more fun.
Talk to him and tell him you like him but I doubt he will want you since he sounds gay and you have a child

OK. your parents cannot control your emotions. Its understandable that your parents would want you to marry the same race... but if you really love him then you love him. nobody else can change that.

well are you going to let your parents rule your life. i say if you really like him that much go for it. tell your parents that you respect their decisions but you need to make your own choices in life and the person that you date should be one of those choices.

He's not goth, he's not gay, he's emo.

Just go out with him. Follow your feelings and listen to what your heart says. The world is running out of room for racists.
