Well, here it goes. I am pregnant. I was originally scheduled to give birth on Friday Dec 8. My husband made plans with his job to take the days from the 8th to the 12th off. Yesterday, I had to go in for a doctor's appt. He always goes with me, but he is out of town due to his job, so I went alone. The doctor informed me that this would be best if scheduled for Dec 6. Personally I think the doctor had things to do on the 8th, but hey it's too late now to change doctors. So, I called my husband and told him about the change. I want nothing more than to have him there with me when I am giving birth. He now thinks I did this on purpose because we had been fighting and is acting like it's all my fault he might not be able to be there, because he might have to be out of town for that day. What should I do? I have about a week before I go into the hospital and I am feeling really depressed with all this, plus the stress of having the baby

My middle son is will be turning 6 next week. He has told me who he wants and dont want at his party. One big problem. The little girl he doesn't want here...they have grown up together over the past 5 yrs. They are 2 months apart. I don't know how to tell her parents that he doesnt want her at his party but he still wants her parents to show up..... Here is why, the kids both started Kindergarten this year. Well, someone at the school decided to put the 2 in the same class. This little girl is VERY controlling of my son. I have been babysitting her for about a year also and I have had to tell her parents that if the dicipline issues dont get fixed, she cant come back. I know my son is tired of being around her all the time.. and just pretty much tired of her crap. How in the world do I tell these people, who have been in his life from day one... that he doesnt want 1 of the 3 of them at his party? I don't want to be mean... Thanks for all your advice. I sure need it.

Delta Airlines have done it again! A woman nursing her child was removed from the flight. Maybe she should have put fake blood on her breast and smeared it on her and the child. Perhaps that would have been more "natural"?

On November 16th I started what I thought was my period it was really light and only lasted four days, I checked my cervix through out the whole time I was bleeding/spotting. My cervix was really high and sort of soft, and now it is November 29th and my cervix is really really high I can touch it kinda with the tip of my finger but not good enough to feel the texture of it. I took an ovulation predictor test and it came back positive that I was ovulating, but I am concerned about why my cervix has been high and has been getting higher since I started light bleeding/spotting. Anybody have any suggestions, opinions, ideas, ANYTHING. Thanks I appreciate all of your help

My 3 yr old daghter has very bad breath. It started all of a sudden about a week ago. I brush her teeth twice a day (now like three) since she had them, she has beautiful white teeth. We brush tongue too. I even floss her about once a week and she uses mothwash but it just doesn't work, about ten min after brushing the breath is back. I think it's not her teeth but her stomach. Anybody has any experiences with this?

P.S. She doesn't eat too much sweets, but she does eat a lot of protein. I thoght that might be it so I tried to cut down on protein in her diet last couple days but nothing changed :-((

I have a 5-week old, and I am wondering how long it takes other mothers to BREASTFEED their newborn to 6-month olds. (Not bottle-feeding).

Iv had an Abortion, 2 years ago while taking the pill i feel pregnant with a long term partner. At the time I thought It would be for the best to have a termination. Looking back now, i do think "what if". I was walking into our city centre this morning, and a grop of people were protesting against abortions...

Any person who has an abortion has to live with that the rest of their life and risks not being able to have future children.

The people who protest should stop and think about their actions. Im sure if people who choose to have their child terminated have no other option... their are plently of kids who are not wanted.

although should their be a limit on how manys weeks? maybe anything past 12 should be a no-go area?

id like to hear your views? and for those people who are going to use this to rant and rave about how selfish i was, i would rather not hear it.

Last night I asked about my sons high fever and I decided to wait it out.... it broke just after he went to bed... from 103.6 to 97.9..... and throughout the night I got up to check his temp. which I had to continue giving him meds, because it kept rising...now this morning he has a fever of 102 and is now breaking out in bumps.. on his right arm it looks like big mesquito bites, and the left elbow looks like it is covered in pimples... then his legs have like mesquito bites down the back........ My question is... do you think this would be contaigous... the doc can't tell me until I take him up there in 4 hours..... and I am 3 months pregnant..... I just wonder what it could be and if it could be passed on.... Thanks!!!!

I divorced my 4 year old son's father a few years ago and have since re-married to a wonderful man who is the father of our daughter. My husband treats my son as if he was his own and considers him his child. My son calls my husband Dad or Daddy most of the time, but recently he has been saying that he misses his "other dad".

His biological father enlisted in the army last year to "get away" from it all and only sees my son once or twice a year (although he is leaving for Iraq in a few months so he won't even see him that often). He calls occasionally, about once a month or less.

What do you think is causing him to suddenly miss his dad? What should I do about it? His dad is pretty much scum and worthless and takes zero responsibility, and my husband is so good for him, it breaks my heart. How should I handle his questions?

I had a fream last night about sucesfully nursing my unborn child. Has anyone else had dreams like this? This would be my third baby, but I have been longing very bad to hold him. I can't wait. I am only 31 weeks and wish it would come sooner. I always see others babys and get the baby hungary feeling eventhough i am pregnant. My question is... does everyone have dreams of their unborn? and could it mean something?

My 5 year old is starting to act out at school. It started to get worse when I started back at work. When I was off for 2 weeks his behavior was great. The day I started back everything just fell apart. I have tried everything I can think of to incurrage him to improve but nothing has helped. I have to work in order to support my family, so please don't suggest that I quit working. He has to learn that parents have to work and he can't get his way all the time.

Examples of things he does at school:
He will not sit still to do his school work
He will not follow the class room rules
He bothers other students while they are doing their work
Just alot of disobedient behavior

He is a smart and sweet kid, he just can't behave.

Please, I need some good advice from parents who know what I am going through. Thanks
