I have a 3 1/2 year old boy and almost 15-month-girl -- and I adore them but the peeing "accidents" and whining, clinginess, fighting for my lap, etc. is making me a little crazy today. Who wants to join me for a glass of wine -- who cares if its before noon! (I'm on mountain time)

Anyway, just needed to vent a little...I do love being a mommy but sometimes I sure miss having an office to go to and a secretary to run my earrands and a beautiful car to drive, and today is one of those days....have a great Thanksgiving!

My baby has about 4-5 ounces of formula every 3-5 hours. I feed him about 4 spoonfuls of stage 1 Gerber about 3 times a day. Is that enough?? He seems to be happy. Are babies at this stage supposed to eat 1 full container of stage 1 Gerber?? He weighs 19 pounds right now.

My husband and I are ttc. Although I am very hopeful I am not all that optimistic that we did concieve this month - simply because I don't feel any different! It is still too early to test (6 days before period is due). Should I feel any symptoms yet?

My dating scan is due in a couple of weeks and the hospital has stated that i need to drink water for the external scan, and an empty bladder for the internal scan. What i'm worried about is that i'm finding it IMPOSSIBLE to drink large amounts of fluids without either being sick or running to the loo rather quickly. What i want to know is whether they INSIST that you have the external scan or if they give up and do the internal scan?? With my last pregnancy i just had the external scan as i was 20 weeks and coped fine, but i'm sure i won't have a full bladder when they scan me this time as i just can't hold it!!

Before everyone says "ring the hospital" i will do nearer the scan date, i just want to know how everyone else coped and if you've had the same problem as me???

I'm only in my early 20's but earlier in the year had an operation to remove serious Cysts and endometreosis, I was told then by the docs that my right ovary no longer produces eggs and that I should have any kids I want before I'm 30. They also said they're not sure if I could ever concieve.... is there any way of knowing without actually trying to get pregnant as I don't want kids just yet but definately do at some stage and it's been playing on my mind.

I am temp working for a very good company. I found I was pregnant over two months ago but I'm afraid to tell them because I am worried they won't hire me. They are expected to hire me in less than thirty days but I feel sneeky and dishonest like I am tricking them by not saying something sooner. My boss has already made a comment about someone else who was pregnant and how to avoid hiring her without admitting it was because she was pregnant.

Okay just a for fun question, I am preggers with number 2 and started showing about 15 weeks with no 1. I think I am already starting with this one and about 12 weeks with no 2.

How soon did you start showing in first and second pregnancies and how soon did others start noticing as baby and not fat?

I have a nine month old daughter. Since about 1 week ago she had maybe 20 oz of formula a day, and ate cereal twice a day (about 2 tsp at a time) Suddenly she is drinking 30-40 oz per day, as well she has 3 meals. Cereal in the morning (3 tsp) Veggies or strained meat at lunch (4 tsp) followed by apple and raspbeery sauce (2 tsp) then just before bed she has another 2 tsp of cereal, with yogurt. I'm scared she'll become overweight. I understand it may be a growth spurt, and needed energy, as she has been crawling and standing more. Did this happen to your baby at this age? How long did it last? It seems she's hungry all the time.

note: I always check for everything else first (diaper, nap, play time, alone time, teething)

What do we do as a society to help prevent all of these girls from getting pregnant? I am physically sickened by the way our world is. If you are a mom to a teenager please, please, please keep the lines of communication open for her to come to you at any time. If you are a sister or an aunt or even a neighbor to a teen that you think might be sexually active, talk to her about birth control. If you are a teen don't even have the sex but if you do please use birth control. Abortion is not hte only option there is out there, please consider your optiions. Does anybody else ahve anything to add?? Happy thanksgiving to all.

He's got a big crush on her and I thought it would be a good gift that Santa could bring. Most of the clothing will be directed toward girls, but the plate and bowl set just have her picture and the questions "What's the sitch?" Do you think that would be OK?

I am 18 weeks pregnant and I woke up with my arm mashed up against my breast and it leaked on my arm. When will the other one start leaking? This is very odd to me even though I expected it later on so I was wondering if someone could tell me their story where it kind of freaked them out.

She has a hectic and stressful job and, like busy people do, gets into the habit of loading herself with more and more jobs which keep her running around during her time off. Even when I offer to help and we agree I'll do a job for her, she'll change her mind at the last minute and decide to do it herself instead. It's driving me nuts, and I can't believe it's good for her or our child either.

A girl I work with just told me that her cousin just gave birth. At the hospital they brought the baby into her room and her boyfriend fed him. Then afterwards her boyfriend handed over the baby and the mom was like "this is not our baby". All is well and no one else had her baby but why did this happen in the first place. Where I gave birth we had our wrist bands checked everytime our son came to our room or left. I was shocked that this happened.
