Everybody!!!!?

Question

What do we do as a society to help prevent all of these girls from getting pregnant? I am physically sickened by the way our world is. If you are a mom to a teenager please, please, please keep the lines of communication open for her to come to you at any time. If you are a sister or an aunt or even a neighbor to a teen that you think might be sexually active, talk to her about birth control. If you are a teen don't even have the sex but if you do please use birth control. Abortion is not hte only option there is out there, please consider your optiions. Does anybody else ahve anything to add?? Happy thanksgiving to all.

i really wanted this question to appear in general pregnancy not adolescent.

Its very terrible. am 16 and i know that. All wat teenage gals think of now is sex. I wonder where the value of education has gone?

I think we, as a society should start sending the right impression to everybody else. Movies themselves aren't helping anymore either. All you see on PG-13 movies these days is nothing but sex. Te media is saying its ok to have sex. two people should not be having sex unless they are married or love each other and know they are not going to leave each other.

As you said about abortion, its not the only option. And if women do not want to bear that responsibility, then they shouldn't be having sex with every other man. In cases of rape it is not the childs fault. Do not blame the child. He/She has as much right to live as we do. We are not GOD to say who lives or dies.

More importantly, attractive women should not be out there flaunting there body to every handsome man they see. That often they are the worst of men. Prostitution should also try being controlled.

Men also should respect women more and not just see them as an object to have sex with. They are equal just like men. If anything many of them are much smarter than men.

In order to change the society we must first take a look at it and realize that there is something wrong with it. And as an individual try to convince others to change and unite the society in order for it to change. Then the society will change for the better or we will destroy ourselves.

Next thing you know the movies are going to be showing that its ok for us to shoot each other.

Well personally I blame the guys because they don't see the need to use condoms, the girls for dressing in revealing clothing and the fact that all teen girls think about is sex to make a guy like them. However I also blame the parents for letting their daughters dress in skimpy clothing like thongs, etc. I also blame Hollywood and the media because all that is in movies and on TV are shows with lots of sex, violence, and drugs. I think fashion magazines are to blame as well as celebrities because too many teenage girls are thinking they need to look like Jennifer Lopez, or Hallie Berry, etc. and that they are so obsessed with all these super thin models and other stuff that it sends a negative impact on teen daughters that their bodies are not good enough. I also blame parents who have these fashion/beauty magazines in their homes because they do not realize how damaging this can be to their teenage daughters and the negative impact it is making on them. I don't see the point of showing these magazines to these young girls and I also think that the fashion industry should be blamed as well since it is their fault mainly that most of these girls want to become anorexic in order to be "perfect."

i am 17 years old i have a wonderful 5 week old daughter yes it was planned in a way i had been on depo for a very long time and i was told that it could take me up to 9 months before getting pregnant once i had got off it well be and my fincae was getting married in july so we wanted me to able to get pregnant a while after marrage so i got of brith control and well 1 month later i was pregnant....so i got married when i was 7 months pregnant. yes i know that i was young but i am very mature for my age i moved in with this guy and his parents at 15 1/2 because of abused at home. but please dont think bad about me please write back to me. please dont judge me. but about what ur saying yeah i think kids should wait or use brith control cause its a really hard job raising a child dealing with the midnight feedings and money to buy them things they need even thought we got married i still wish that we would of wait to have this child but i love her to death.

im 15 and i think its horrible to, the least everyone can do is protect themselves from getting pregnant, and its not even all the gurls fault, you guys need to take some responsiblity to, condoms, birth control! and Abortion is absolutly not an option unless you feel the need to kill an innocnet little baby!

As a mom of a teenage daughter I know how imported it is to talk to your kid. Its a process that starts when they are young and continues until, well it never stops.
