I am 18 weeks pregnant and I woke up with my arm mashed up against my breast and it leaked on my arm. When will the other one start leaking? This is very odd to me even though I expected it later on so I was wondering if someone could tell me their story where it kind of freaked them out.

lol,... sweetie it is normal even though it freaked you out. If you woke up with the other arm squishing the other breast, I would say it would leak too. The first time I noticed my breast leaking (even though I was planning to breast feed) I was a little freaked out, but it intrigued me even more. I (like you) wanted to see if the other breast was leaking, so I squeezed it starting from the top of the breast down to the nipple, and it leaked too!!

Good Luck and God Bless

I just heard in the medical report on the radio that this sort of thing is not uncommon, especially when you are pregnant, but even when you're not. I never had any milk "problems." I never leaked, I never had sore breasts after he was born and we used formula. I even bought a cabbage because of friend of mine suggested it would help, but I didn't know until much later what I was supposed to do with it! Talk to your doctor just to be sure it's OK. Congratulations and good luck!

that's tough 1 !!!!!!!!!!
maybe if you put alot of pressure on the 1 that didn't leak that might make it happen
but i wouldn't worry there will be more than enough in each breast when baby comes x x x x

Your breasts will not leak without stimuli (sucking, etc.) until after you start breastfeeding. Also, you don't have milk yet, just collostrum. Anyhow, it probably won't happen again until the baby is born.
