would it show positive ye on a pregnancy test? if not when is the best time to take one?

It depends on how long your cycle is. The first month I came off the pill I assumed I would have a normal 28 day cycle. So, when I "missed" my period I took a test and it was negative. Come to find out my cycle is running 31 days.

You can take a test and it will be pretty acurate the day after you miss (there are ones you can take before you miss your period but the accuracy rate is much less). So, if based on past cycles you should have started on the 20th (and nothing else has changed) you should be able to get an accurate result now.

you can take a test and it should show for you. IF for some reason it does not wait a couple of more days and try again or go to your doctor and have your blood taken because your HCG level might not be high enough to show the urine. BEST WISHES

You could take one now, but buy a pack of two (they don't cost much more than one) and if it comes up negative and you still don't have your period in a week then test again.
