I can't believe how prevalent this is! When someone tells me they are expecting I don't even ask the sex because so many people don't want to know. When I hear they have decided to deprive themselves of this pertinent information it makes me want to scream! Let me get this st8, you have sonogram and then for some faulty reasoning that defies logic you decide not to find out? Spare me the I want to be surprised reason, you get that when they tell you (I'll never forget the moment I was told). Forget the some times they are wrong reason, with today's technology (we're in the 21st century, that never happens anymore). Forget the I don't want to be disappointed reason, if that's true then you'll need time to accept it before the birth. Forget any other possible silly reason, they're aren't any. Numerous reason to know: only need to select one name, can prepare the baby's room, baby shower gifts easier to buy, one less thing to worry about during over whelming delivery. SCREAM!

I had my period 3 times so far after i had sex 3 months ago but every since then i been feeling sick nausea bloting and swollen breast could i be pregnant even though i had my period oh my stomach is larger since the three months past?

My boyfriend of three years and I just started having sex. I have a regular 28 day cycle. We use condoms CORRECTLY (without any rips/tears or leaks, and I test them all afterwards...) EVERY TIME we have sex. He NEVER ejaculates inside of me.

I got my period on Oct 31 (Day 1), and the last day of bleeding was on November 7th (Day 7). We had sex with a condom that night, and he did not ejaculate inside of me. Pre-*** was caught in the tip of the condom and the condom did NOT rip/tear/leak. However, I am still scared that pregnancy could occur. I understand the risks involved. We waited three years until I felt I was ready -- I thought I could handle the risk but it turns out I'm really not ready. I am 21 years old. We are going to stop having intercourse -- but I need to know the risk of pregnancy considering my situation. I've looked everywhere & can't find a same scenario.

I had unprotected sex about 2 weeks before my period was due and I had my period but the bleeding was heavyer than normal but only lasted about 2 to the normal 6 days. After words I had alot of brown spotting. Now at about 6 weeks after I had unprotected sex my breasts are tender I have some cromping, im really tired with headachs and I can smell every thing! Also I have an increased amount of vaginal discharge thats thin clear and stick but doesnt have a smell and only when I wipe. I have a bit of an upset stomach at different points through out the day but thats it and it seems im pickyer than usual about what I eat to eat something I have to crave it before hand... Could I be pregnant even with the heavey period like bleeding for two days and not throwing up at all??? Please if u know any thing help!!!

I am 26 weeks and I went to see the dr this morning. I have had a rough pregnancy so far. I have a fibroid that is about as big as my baby and I look like I have twins although one is my child and the other is a Tumor. The tumor sits on my nerve causing scyatiica. (Sharp pains to the bottom of my feet and burning) Before it was every now and then. The last two weeks it has been constant. I now struggle to get around to do anything. Even the bathroom is a task. I have reached my end and am sad because I have a hard time taking care of my family. The Dr and us have decided that we will take the baby out as soon as we know that we can. Our child is very heathly but the stress that I am under concerns the Dr a great deal. I find myself crying in the shower to hide the saddness. My husband allows me to cry in his arms and he is very supportive and worried as well. They put me on prozac today will it help? Has anyone else taken this while pregnant and it help? Im scared, sad, but faithful

Doctor has prescribed Folacid- 5mg, twice a day. After going thru one of the answers earlier, it was mentioned that right dose is 0.4 to 0.5 mg. Iam confused. i want to know whether Folacid 5mg is correct dose, why it is taken and what will happen if over dose is taken?

My daughter slaps me and her grandma in the face. I've never struck my daughter but somehow she picked this up. At first we thought she was just playing but as she grew older she started getting worse. She pinches our noses and lips with fierce grip. Has anyone gone through this? I really need help, Im 16 and i have had unprotective sex, and I'm worry of getting pregnant. I haven't got my period for the last 5 days yet and I'm totally worried. i have kidney stones and have had to have surgery to put a stint in. i am 29 weeks pregnant now and my doctor said that we are going to try to make it to 32 weeks. i'm on vicodin for pain and am told that as the baby gets bigger i'll be in more pain. does this happen often, and has anyone else experienced this?

Before you say, GO TO THE DOCTOR, I've just been added to my husband's insurence and they have yet to send me a card. I will go as soon as I get that darned card!

Here's the deal: I'm on birth control and have been on birth control since the birth of my son (14 months ago). I had a really healthy period in October, but just last week my period lasted 2 days and was very light. Can't remember when I last had sex in relationship to that day.

Anyway, lately I've been feeling sick to my stomach all the time. I keep thinking that it may because I fill myself with food too much, but I have been eating less than normal. The food itself is the same stuff as I've been eating for the past year! Nothing is new.

Could pregnancy be possible or could it be something else? Yes, I'm going to take a pregnancy test tomorrow but the hormones from the BC may screw with that.

I never had morning sickness with my son, so I'm not sure what it's like.

I manage a company (Well, a generous portion of it) and my boyfriend is a full time... homemaker. He takes care of the house all the time, I work 12 hour days. (all except this week, I've been SICK from my pregnancy lately..) People are so openly critical about us! First of all, yeah, not being married and living together and I'm pregnant. (Is this too uncommon, honestly?) Secondly, my working 12 hour days and he handling the house, cooking, cleaning, all that fun stuff. When the baby's born, I told everyone that he's staying home with the baby because I have to bring bread to the table. EVERYONE I know thinks it's nuts, that it's "role reversal", which is honestly bs in my eyes. What's your opinions on this? We're getting married after the child is born, it's all getting taken care of, but people are more weirded out over our role situation than with the fact of us not being married. I wanna hear your thoughts on this, ok? Please? Thanks a bundle.

i had sex when i was ovulating. (we are trying to concieve) this was three weeks ago. the week after sex i had something which i thought was implamation bleeding. it couldnt have been my period because my peiod was only a little over 2 weeks ago. now i have mild cramps, the pigment of my nipples have gotten darker,and i have been more hungry then usual... i took a test 2 days ago, it was negative. i dont expect my period until the 14th or so... did i test too early? could i still possibly be pregnant.
