Your baby will probley end up having a stay in the NICU. Ask your OB if he will be giving you shots to help with babies lung develpment. My son was a premie & we knew he would be , so we arranged a meeting w/ the neonatologist & took a tour of the NICU & looked at babies so we had a idea of what to expect. Good Luck & God Bless

My friend has two beautiful and very healthy little girls, one of them is just over 2 and the other one is about 9 months old, both of them were born premature, and very little. I believe it was actually between 29wks and 31wks. The mom had preclampsia (not sure of the spelling but it has to do with high blood pressure) The girls did really good, and were always getting better, i don't believe either one of them had to stay in the hospital for very long. It's just hard on the parents to have a premature baby. You just wont get over how tiny and fragile they are. But they will grow up, and yes they will be a little bit behind developmentallly, but you have to think, okay the nine month old is nine months but she's supposed to be seven or eight months right now. So don't let it get you down if they are a few months behind other babies. And really who's to say they will be? Kids develop at different times from each other anyway. I was walking at nine months, my cousin was waking after a year and some months, we were both born full term. Just prep your self for some hard times, seeing your baby that little and fragile is hard. But it's all worth it. I'd ask my doctor if there was any pills i could take (extra vitamins) that would help your baby get as much nutrients it can so you can kind of jump start your baby to prep them for it.
Congrats by the way, and hope all goes well with the both of you :)

I assume you've been talking to your OB about this?
If so, he should start you on some injections that will help your baby's lungs finish developing. At this stage, that's the big "worry" as far as your baby coming early. And with this much warning, there's plenty of time to prepare.
Yes, your baby will be small, and will have to stay in the hospital a little longer than normal, but you will have a healty, beautiful baby to take home.
(With the advance-preparation, your baby may not even be in NICU that long. Possibly just a few days.)

Well, I don't know much about the stones or the pain, but I can tell you that a baby born at thirty two weeks is about four weeks shy of what would be considered full term. Most of the baby's body would be perfectly fine, the only thing I would worry about would be his/her lungs. However, babies born as early as 28 weeks have been known to survive. Good luck!

Don't worry. Babies are born premature all the time.
At 32 weeks you'll have a very small baby, but s/he will survive in the NICU. Our son was born at 35 weeks and only stayed 17 days in the NICU. Don't expect that, but it's always pleasant.
Anything past 27 weeks is nearly 90% survival rate.

Of direction it is typical to be afraid...but when anything had been enormously improper, the percentages are you would realize by way of now if you are getting the right pre-natal care. Besides all infants are bizarre watching after they pop out!!! But significantly, when you've been taking good care of your self (nutrition, recreation, no smoking/consuming) and getting constant checkups, you will have performed all you'll be able to do to your finish. The leisure is as much as nature. Fun reality - all persons truthfully have dominant genes to have 6 hands. It's referred to as polydactyly. But such a lot folks get the recessive trait - five hands. A specific case in which it is greater to be recessive! As good there's new study out that shows infants broaden fears/issues to matters their moms are scared/involved approximately. That the chemical compounds that mother produces for the period of those occasions will move the placenta and impact (now not always examine) the youngster's talents fears/issues. Take house message - do not fear, be comfortable - it is greater in your little one. :)
