Maybe because I work for a dentist, but I think that there comes a point when parents need to stay in the waiting room. In my field, most of the time they are in the way. Now, I don't mean for normal exam appointments, where the parent has questions and needs to hear diagnosises, but when actual treatment is being done. I don't go in the room when my son has had dental work, unless I was the one working on him. Where exactly does a parent draw the line and allow the child to go in by theirself? Both to the normal doctor or the dentist.

I was wondering if anyone who is pregnant or who has been pregnant that has ever suprised or wanted to suprise there husband with the great news that they are pregnant? I was wondering if anyone had any great ideas. His birthday is coming up in two weeks and he doesnt know yet. i know it will be the best birthday gift hes ever recieved hes been wanting this baby so bad. i want something that would be like a clue game that would start out with hard clues and get easyer as the clues went on. i just dont have any clue as to what i would use for that. or if anyone has any other great ideas they want to share. it would be much apprecated. and i want to thank you now for them if you do offers me great ideas. I just gave birth 12 days ago and never breast fed but my breast are HEAVILY leaking milk it does only leak in one breast which happens to be the one I have a nipple ring in but I do NOT want to take it out so I am looking for other people that had a similar problem and got there milk to stop pouring out and keep the nipple ring

i just got my period today. it is way heavier than usual and its probably the worst pain i have ever felt in my abdomen. my lower back is killing me and i cant get enough sleep. my period was about a week late and i had been wondering if i was pregnant--i just had this gut feeling i was. i have taken a hpt but its negative, but it is also too early to tell b/c i would only be 3 weeks at the most. i know women can have their period while pregnant, but i also know this could be a sign of miscarrying also. im going to go see a doc asap, but until then any ideas??

i charted my ovulation and took bbt. we had sex at my peak of ovulation. i am 6 days late, and i am having sore breast and tiredness. i have felt nausous at night, but not a lot. i took a preganancy test when i was 3 days late, but it was negitive. i just dont underdstand what is going on. cand someone please help?

My parents moved away like when i was 10 they really paid o attentioon to me at allMy maid was mom my butalor was my dad. Iliv with my maid and butalor and sister.we were both accidents. my mom had my sis at 15 and me at lik 23 somthin i wish sometimes that they would come and vist us and yell and grounded us lik a normal family. But they dont care. anyway the asked if me and my sis wanted to vist lik 2 wks ago i havent answered I knoe there getting something out of this,but what?

I ask because if I go by the vaginal ultrasound it says my LMP was June 24...I know for a fact it was June 17, but LMP throws my dates way off. Very confused.

One of my coworkers asked me today if I let my daughter take a bath with me. My daughter is 2 1/2. I said yeah, why. She said that she had never even thought about that. Not that she thought anything was wrong with it, just that she had never even considered it. Is this really so unheard of? I don't see anything wrong with a mom and toddler taking a bath together.

I really would like to be a teen mom but i scared what my mom would say im really good with kids but im scared for labor and i have really bad stomach (lots of problems =[) but im not sure becasue im scared what my parents would think !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My child has to take 11 different medicines a day that we put into his feeding tube. Now the doctors want to take out the tube. We have tried every way that we can think of and there is no convining him to put the meds in his mouth. we don't know how else to give them to him.

Nervousness/anxiety before bringing baby home???
We are adopting and are SOOOO excited. The baby is due in three weeks and it seems the closer the date gets the more nervous I get and the more anxiety I can feel coming on. Is this what every expecting mom goes through? I know this is a silly question, but this is our first and I don't know what to expect at all. I do have anxiety disorder so helping my nerves stay calm is great and knowing that all these feelings are normal will help a lot!!!
